Okay, yesterday bought both Airpods Pro 2 and these new Beats. Been doing my homework so this is my most important points opinion:
- Sound quality: pretty much the same. Only big difference I found is that APP2 supports more volume, they are louder in a good way. Can here more lows and bass in Beats. Clearness felt the same. Personally I like the more bassy sound of the Beats. Feels more “spatial”.
- Looks: Beats look great. So different. AAP2 is the same as 99% of the people have.
- ANC: AAP2 wins here. It’s better. No waaaay better cause Beats is really good, but better.
- Transparency: AAP2 win by a lot here. Feels like you have nothing in your ears. With Beats is pretty good but you can feel something there. There’s a clear difference here.
- Wear Detection: can’t believe Beats don’t have these. Really a must in 2023. This is probably the thing that made me decide for the AAP2. Though it won’t bother me that much but it did.
- Comfort: AAP2 felt more comfortable in me. Beats felt a bit lighter cause there’s no stems but I feel a small pressure after 30 min with them on. I’m with the AAP2 since 2 hours ago and they feel 100% fine.
I thought about getting these but no wear detection and the fact you can’t control the volume and changing songs from the earbuds like you can with the AAP2 was a deal breaker for me

Just picked these up today to replace my beats fit pro. Honestly, I love how they sound and they are just as comfortable.

Just got a pair for Black Friday today at target. On sale for like 20 off. Work just fine. Sounds good. Jobsite for noise control. Notice canceling for whatever reason and almost identical to AirPods
During the phone call, it sounded like the earbuds were using the same technology found in the "voice isolation" feature in the latest versions of Final Cut X. If you push Final Cut too hard with that, you get a little bit of high-end distortion, and that's what it sounded like here as well, especially since the earbuds were cutting out so much traffic noise. Still incredibly impressive though.
Bought them before staples even had them out on display yet. The transparent ones are so dope. Worth every bit more then the original ones. The upgrades where awesome especially noise cancelling and transparent mode. They last alot longer in battery too, at least a few hours longer and the case holds a better longer charge. And the extra ear suction Buds they offer helps some people as there are now five different sizes. I own a pixel 7 pro so these were a no brainer, my solo pro beats that i absolutely adored started acting funny and won't hold a charge but then try later and they do lol. So i figured these are on their way out andn side made the dumb choice to not make them anymore yet keep the solo 3s which agree welfare garbage tinny sounding crap. The solo pros had amazing noise cancelling and a 40 hours battery life without noise cancelling and a quick 5 minute charge gives you a good few hours battery. I loved these headphones and three clampy way they fit either work for you or don't but most.people had no issues. The only problem I would say they had was they became uncomfortable after a few hours because they sit on your ear and not over them like the studio's but they cost about 450 bucks unless you snag em in a sale snd between all the different choices of tech stores there is bound to be a sale at one of em. I really love the studio beats buds plus for when I'm out for a jog or.just relaxing listening to music or TH-cam etc.. I'm thinking of getting another pair of solo pros they can easily be found online for either cheaper or sometimes more expensive as they are getting rarer especially new in box ones and I don't buy used earphones. I'm also looking at some good bestbuy refurb studio beats for like 150 and its tempting because I love over the air headphones for the quality over buds and yes even the precious apple air buds max ... I'm not quite an audiophile with music but with my 4k blurays or even my digital with Dolby vision and Atmos I have high quality Pioneer receiver and some great Bose speakers and two installed in the ceiling and it's like a theatre especially with reference movies .
Staples? I thought they sold papers and printers?

I just bought these today and I’m coming off of the air pods 3rd gen as the AirPods Pro’s air buds don’t stay in my ears but the new beats pods do. I made a call with my AP3 gen and I could hear a slight static type noise, but with the new beats didn’t hear the same thing. Music does sound better as well!
Really liking the transparent one, wonder if they would yellow like some other transparent plastics
I recently bought a pair of Airpods Pro 2, primarily to protect my hearing while I am riding my motorcycle. I was a bit apprehensive because I couldn't guarantee that they would fit under my helmet and that they would block enough sound but WOW I was blown away. They block way more sound than my 32db earplugs and my ears are much happier for it. They also fit under the helmet well although I can sometimes get a bit of a drumming sound in my ear if I am going over a bumpy section of road. Overall though I am super happy with the performance of the buds. The sound quality is decent, not as good as the Sennheiser momentum 2 true wireless that I used to own (and by extension, the 3's but I haven't heard them personally) but it is certainly a pleasant sound that isn't lacking in any way. Overall, extremely happy with them. I did compare with the Beats studio buds but I was worried that the slightly more sharp edge of the protruding bit would catch on the helmet when putting it on/taking it off. The Airpods are smoother on the outside so they thankfully slide in and out of the helmet easily. I have only gotten them snagged once when taking off the helmet and I put that down to me not being careful enough as you do have to use a bit of technique. It's easy enough though, just have to be mindful of it. I can't guarantee that they will work for everyone, every ear, every helmet and every motorcycle (depending how loud it is or the frequency of the sound it produces) but I would highly recommend you consider it if you are looking for earbuds for use on a motorcycle.

I will be purchasing these in transparent at release. Im tired of the boring white AirPods Pro and not a fan of the stem. Like you said the auto switching can be irritating and I will not miss that feature
Clear Beats Pro are decent in design, but I’m curious on the bass is what the Monster Beats used to be known for.
When I originally heard about these several weeks ago I was very skeptical. I already have the PowerBeats Pro & BeatsFit Pro. Both I use quite often and IMO, the sound from the BeatsFit Pro are superior. I can't imagine the fit would be comfortable and that is why I have stayed away from the Studio Buds all this time. I do like the transparent color option but these are not for me.
Oh man, I'd love to see the transparent tech make a comeback. Transparent AirPods would be sick!
The fact that Apple Made these is a massive step from its current design standard, Apple may make more transparent Beats but I doubt that they’ll make the same design changes to their flagship audio earphones I.e AirPods

I used to have the red studio buds, I lost the case with one ear bud in them. Got the clear stud buds + and so they’re great
Just bought the black pair today. Very impressed so far. Better than the original studio buds I have a pair of those too. Personally I don’t like the translucent it looks cheap to me. But more power to those of you who like it!

I have been waiting for new studio buds since I saw the leak. Although I love the transparent design for studio buds+ ,as an apple user with several devices, I will still choose fit pro. Even though I really hope beats could put just h1 in buds+ would be so nice.

They look like they’re made of glass, I love the design .classy and silky smooth. The vocal is much better in the new studio buds .i would say a little bit clearer . At least for me .Hopefully the sound quality is good too . Thanks 🙏 for the reviews

Just orderd them on a deal on Amazon they come Monday, but instead of me getting the AAP2 is because I still have the 1st gen but obviously the beats plus are slightly better than my APP1 and they are showing their age I plan on getting the AAP3 or whenever they make a refresh or new advancements with the AAPs but I think the studios will do good for me until then :)
I'm trying to decide between these and the Air Pods Pro 2. The lack of precision finding is a deal breaker. The transparent case looks awesome but I need to easily & quickly find my buds! I'll be buying Air Pods Pro 2.
I would wait til the Pros 3 since they will be going to USB C.
Sony WF1000XM4 best Earbuds I have ever owned and I have beats as well. But sony is a different level Of perfect best buds and they're better than these New studio buds. And there the same price ...🎉 When the sony first came out there were $350 -$400 canadian . I believe the price has come down since then and you can now get them for $299 Canadian You will not regret.🎉🎉🎉
I went with Pro 2s coming from AirPod gen threes and I couldn’t be happier. The transparency mode is pretty good, and I like being able to close off from the world with the isolation they provide.

+1 for Earfun Air Pro 3, they are my daily driver and I can't really complain about anything. It's a non-starter that Beats don't have wireless charging.
The design is dope but unfotunately buds without wingtips fall out of my ear so will have to wait on the beats fit pro 2nd gen. Hope they shrink the case. Since these are out maybe a fit pro 2nd gen is close. Fingers crossed

A physical button on a pair of buds is a hard pass for me. It always feels like I'm shoving them into my ear every time I click the button. I'm ok with physical buttons on headphones but not ear buds.
One thing I neglected to mention was that they (Beats) have virtually eliminated the clicking noise when you press the button and the button mechanism is quite smooth so you don't have to press hard and end up jamming the tip in your ear. It's a noticeable improvement.
With how they are designed I hold the part that sticks out with my thumb and ring finger and tap the button with my index, and they really don't push into my ears.
@@anrego needing to use 3 fingers yo press 1 button is bad user experience.
That being said, the buttons on these have been reworked from the non plus model, featuring lower force activation. So people that had problems before might not anymore.
Additionally physical buttons have the added benefit that they work with gloves, should you live in cold weather conditions.
@@The4valanche that's just the way I found myself naturally doing it because of how they're shaped. You bring up a good point about the gloves and colder weather conditions.
I personally prefer the button to touch when apple’s malfunctions after owning them for a while

Debating trying these. I have the AirPods Pro 2s but the original Studio Buds blow them out of the water with bass, but the AirPods sound more refined in the midrange. The APP2s just lack low end impact.

The original Beats Studio buds are the only earbuds which fit my ears, I would love the upgraded version.
Sort of wondering about selling my Airpods 3 for these, they didn't get much use because without a seal and ANC it's too distracting at the gym, and imo they don't sound that good. Would these be an all around upgrade for around the cost?
Hey. I don’t think you should ever switch from AirPods to Beats. If you want an upgrade - perhaps get the newer AirPods Pro. The upgrade in sound quality wouldn’t be worth it.
However since you’re also talking about gym, In my experience the Beats Studio design also makes it easier for the buds to fall out of the ear vs the Beats Fit pros which have extra wings to keep them in ear
The ANC on these earbuds isn’t great. You would be better off with the Sennheiser Momemtum true wireless 3 buds earbuds or the Sony WF 1000xm4 buds. These are a step up above these.
In short, I don’t think you should abandon your AirPods for Beats hoping for an upgrade.

The biggest drawback but earlier buds where the physical buttons which while casual listening on the couch if you turn the burn presses automatic and pauses the music hope the problem remains same . AirPods are better in comfort while watching movies in bed . Beats design is bit bad
I don’t think this guy did much research outside of listening to them. He says they do have auto switching on iOS, their website says they do. He also says they do support spatial audio, which again the website says they do.
No auto switching for iOS and no spatial audio with head tracking (for movies).

These are a better option that the Beats Fit Pros. The wing on those will eventually break. The rubber splits just after the hard plastic of the bud. Plenty of people posting about it online. Happened to my wife’s. It’s a shame because those had great audio quality, AirPod Pro style features, and no stems. Will never buy another pair.
That's the reason I won't buy the fit pros and looking at this video now. Amazon have aftermarket wing tips for a more secure fit for the beats studio buds+.

these weren't loud enough for me, massive case and no wireless charging. The battery should last longer considering how massive that case is.

I bought the studio buds for a heavily discounted price of $55 😅
Its actually good for $55 but for $120-150 i wouldn't be happy, they're pretty average sounding and the battery isn't very impressive.
How do they compare to the Buds pro 2 and the Bose QC II?
Honestly, I would switch from my Jabra elite pro's if I didn't have already a wireless charging ecosystem in my home set up. Maybe next year they get that quality of life feature and I can add to the roster :)

Why do I have this weird feeling that, the 1st buyers (especially those who are in the Apple ecosystem) of these Beats Studio Buds Plus will still have the bad surprise to see released in 1-2 months Beats Fit Pro Plus that will have all the advantages of Airpod Pro 2 🤔
On the other hand, frankly, I do not see any interest of this product for those who are on Android, it is actually at the same price as Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, Pixel Buds Pro and other Soundcore, 1More, Nothing Ear 2, OnePlus Buds Pro 2, JBL Live Pro 2 by offering fewer features ...🤷🏽♂️

Beats fit are better much better
Studio buds are Better for comfort. The wing tip on the beats fit pro‘s are hard and kind of pointy so they can be painful 10 minutes after sitting in your ears. I don’t personally recommend these to those who want comfortable earbuds.
