What's the point of that? You master the weapons fast enough just playing the game. I hit the exp level cap way too early as it is, I have never done any grinding.

I played the first nioh but i just couldnt get into it i have beaten every souls game but man nioh i literally couldnt beat the second boss and i gave up

I tried nioh 1 and 15 hours in i gave up...not because it wasnt tough last boss i beat was yuki onna....the problem was that combat didnt click with me...i just didn't understand it...i only used single stance and single weapon every fight...is nioh 2 better should i try it? And what advice would u give me?
Had such a blast with the two Nioh, especially the first one! It's only after defeating the vampire lady boss and beginning the water boss level that I started to say: "ok, now, I'm getting the hang of this complex game!" 💪 The castle escape to the tough Onryoki demon to the vampire lady was actually the whole tutorial! 😜
Great video! Just as a side note, if you wait until NG++ or so you can get the mystic art proficiency in like 1 mission per weapon. Waaay less time overall to do it this way
He was playing on PS without dlc so he only had access to DotStrong. Also he'd have been mad tight about having to get to the end of DotD and make a half decent build for Against All Comers if he did dlcs.

Funny thing and an outright reference, in Nioh 1 and 2, you can fight the ancestors of Ryu Hayabusa, the protagonist of the Ninja Gaiden games. You can even get the armor of the Hayabusa Clan ancestor, as well as the Dragon sword, Ryu’s main weapon in the 2000’s run of the series and in the 2nd Nioh game you get those, as well as the talons, claw weapons from Ninja Gaiden 2. It also allows you to do one of the most iconic and overpowered move of all time called the Izuna Drop, which makes you send the enemy in the air, JUMP AND SPIN SUPPLEX THAT MOTHERFUCKER ONTO THE GROUND AS IF YOU WERE ZANGIEF

Kudos for getting yet another Plat. Nioh 2 is proudly sitting on top of the list of my favorite Souls games (tied with Sekiro and Lies of P). It doesn't get better than this, and looking at Team Ninja's recent releases, I doubt it ever will. Also, it's one of the worst games to start for the sole purpose of Platting it. The mastery of weapons achievement is designed to give you enough motivation to play the optional missions, replay the main missions and enjoy the end game over hundreds of hours. It's sad that you didn't get to fight Saito Toshimitsu which IMO is the hardest boss in the game.
I would argue that Hayabusa is the hardest boss in the game tbh. Yoshimitsu is the hardest boss in the main game but with the dlc Hayabasua is a bit harder.

Ren Hayabusa, aka Mr. Ninja Gaiden is essentially the Malenia of Nioh 2 😄It basically transcends to an absurd level of difficulty and still kicks the behinds of people with a couple of thousand hours in the game. When I mentioned Saito Toshimitsu (not to be confused with Saito Yoshitatsu), I meant the optional human duel boss you find in the online mission, "The Chinese Bellflower Dagger." It is unlocked very early on and recommended for level 65. It separates boys from men 😅 I wish OP had a chance to try that.

Im so very glad platinum for this one did not need to do playtroughts of those harded difficulties. Could very much skip the whole gear bs nioh 1 and 2 have ;D
Lets not forget that Nioh 1 and 2 doesnt have any free estus for any gameplay, another thing that gives an extra layer of difficulty to the game when you are just starting with no currency at all (sacred rice) to refill your elixirs, as such you can pretty much end up fighting 30 times this first miniboss thinking you are just fine and then you run out of elixirs for at least 3 missions because you cant get them back freely like estus every time you die.
funfact: in nioh1 you have to do all missions to get the platinum, however twilight missions also count and they cycle once a day, so getting the platinum would probably take about a year in real time, not even i have the platinum in nioh1 for that reason, i do have every other trophy tho.
For me there were 2 blockers for the platinum that I needed to overcome. First one was Enenra, took me like 20 tries and the boar dude, that dude made me rage quit on 3 separate days. Took me 80+ tries to finally beat him. The rest of the platinum was alright. Nioh1 was harder in my opinion. The Nobunaga and wife tag team duo is a fight from that game I hate with a passion.
My Nioh 2 plat is probably one of my proudest plats, along with a few Yakuza platinums. The game is amazing and challenging, but not completely unfair. It's not an incredibly difficult platinum, just a bit of grinding and exploring.

I got this a couple days ago and man is it punishing, but I find myself loving every second of it. Every weapon is awesome too.
there are also 3 dlcs that require to beat those missions on ng+2, those were fun.

It’s the other way around for me! 🤯 Nioh platinum was easy, it’s the soulsborne ones I struggle with.

Bro they cycle everyday so it probably took me about 5 days. The are 9 you have to do for the platinum. DLC ones don’t count
