Easy tip that saved me so much time and pain on all my own challenge runs: For Godskin Duo, that grace you hit before the balcony level to the boss arena? Turn around and jump off the ledge, you'll land onto a staircase on a section below which then you can jump off of to a lower level of the same arena level. Run through the right doorway, down the hall past the banished knight, then hang left until you drop down a short ledge into another room where there is a grace at the end of a stair well that leads right into the arena with no annoying run through enemies.
There's another way you can get there, though it only works if you haven't started the duo fight for the first time. Since the fog walls only spawn in after the fight starts, you can sneak on the right side of the arena to get to that Grace (although you have to run past a similar number of enemies, so it's up to you if it's worth it)
Technicaly speaking you can use the item that parries Malikketh because is pretty much the talisman from DS1 that parries the magic from Manus Edit: Lions claw ash of war is technicaly also the Majestic Greatsword frontflip or the Farron Watcher flip, so that can be used too
Between the editing, the content, your humor, and especially the Eustice reference, I'm definitely going to subscribe! I can't wait for the next video!
Could argue that the stone sword keystones are the Elden Ring equivalent of the Fragrant Branch of Yore from Dark Souls 2, only instead of unpetrifying an NPC to unlock a passageway, you're inserting the key to remove a fog wall!
To be fair on the armor thing most of the available stuff has very little defense so having no armor and light roll is probably a better choice than having a mediocre negation and med roll
For the StoneSwordKeys you could of said they are teh Dark Souls Equivalent of Pharos Lockstones from DS2. So Technically you didn't break your own rules!
Pretty much all the weapons and armor are from the older games even the spells and incants. Most of them just got renamed or a slight graphics update. New texture pack on ds but now with jumping and horse.
Yeaaaah I could have, but I didnt realize it was quite literally the same armor with a little bit of a different look until I was making the thumbnail :/
i /think/ technically you could've used the Knight set from the twin maiden husks? every dark souls game to my memory has the Knight origin start with Knight Armor. though obviously the Elden Ring version is quite different, so i'm on the fence about this statement
I know I missed a lot of armor, I didnt realize how many armor sets returned from previous games😭
A sin against the thorn knight Kirk. May your rolls be fat and your bleed proc slow
@@jonathancastillo6433 im saving that one
Theres not a single armor set that keeps the dark souls design even if theres a couple under the same name
Chain mail being the biggest one :))
what do you mean there is no armor? the chainmail set has been in every Dark Souls game
Dark Souls 2 didn't have one... but you're right
@@memereaper2764 wtf that's so weird
i could've sworn DS2 has all the notable DS1 sets
I thought it was in DS2 as well but I guess not thats so weird
@GBlockbreaker no ds2 was made by diffrent ppl which you probably know but there wasn't things like havel Armour or elite knights armor
@@ItzSuperFella the elite knight is in ds2 tho...
serpent hunter is basically a worn out dragonslayer swordspear so still 100% legit
Its basically just storm ruler lol
Serpent hunter's ash of war has a follow up, why nobody knows it
@InsanityInVr it is it’s very slow and I’ve always gotten hit when using it
Yes, but against rykard can stunlock
@Ilmi9n9me oh most people know it, it’s just never worth using over good old charged heavies when not fighting Rykard
I think... you could argue the Knight Set has been in every souls game too, it just looks slightly different in every game
Fluted Set in Demon's Souls
Knight/Elite Knight Set in the Dark Souls Trilogy
(Arguably) Cainhurst Set in Bloodborne
Knight Set in Elden Ring
@ I meant knight in general, the starting class for all the knights, but also elite/fluted works too
@@MrWesd93 elite knight looks best in ds2. Trust me, look at it.
@@ksa7621 I like the Alva set better in ds2
The reason the great club didn't do much to the godskins is they're resistant to blunt and holy damage.
This whole time I have been using blunt damage on them not realizing that...damn
...you guys are talking about *strike* damage... right?
@Popo-the-god yes but it doesn't really matter what you call it because they both mean the same thing.
@Big-Hat-Logann I'm not mad about it or anything. Just wondering what you guys meant.

you could apply the same logic that you did with the Stormruler and the Rykard fight with the Pharros Lockstone from DS2 and Stonesword keys no?
You absolute genius holy shit, I didnt even think about that.
That’s what I had thought
Technicaly speaking you can use the item that parries Malikketh because is pretty much the talisman from DS1 that parries the magic from Manus
Edit: Lions claw ash of war is technicaly also the Majestic Greatsword frontflip or the Farron Watcher flip, so that can be used too
is that artorias move originaly ? lion claw
@LordDeBahs ye, in the Dark Souls 1 dlc, Artorias can do some frontflip slams with his sword very similar to Lion's claw
Yo the REACH music at 13:58??? Top notch, very nice touch lol
That’s exactly what I came here to say!! I’m surprised I still recognized!
And the persona music during radagons wolf, this guy knows ball
There never was a map in any of the dark souls.
Lmfao you got them.
But you can tp and it shows you the location
@@MorganFizz sure, but no map.
@ true butttttttttttttttt
Technically, DS2 has a map of Drangleic in the manor of Majula
Let us freaking commence forth
Lets freaking go
well done seems like only walkin was the real challenge here. love the edit and walk montage
Thanks! Yeah walking was so freaking tedious lol
21:52 Godskin noble has 35% strike resistance. Apostle has 10%.
They're 10% vulnerable to slash
Bro the Reach theme on Radahn was not something I knew I needed.
Between the editing, the content, your humor, and especially the Eustice reference, I'm definitely going to subscribe! I can't wait for the next video!
Thanks so much! I'm on it
suprised no uchigatana, washing pole/nagakiba
Eh they're just kinda boring, like the katanas have been overused for years you know
@@GameitMicah use it against midra due to such a good boss for an og weapon and hes weak to bleed/frost
Every time I see “walking montage” I think of: Eustace and the quest for his hat
the music taste is so darn good
Whole video I was like "man he has some nic bgm going on" and the. 6:28 hit me hard like a track I love it
haha thank you, I carefully pick the songs I use its lowkey my favorite part
@@GameitMicah yeah really resistant to strike, fire, and holy, really weak to slash and bleed
Congrats on 5K Brother!!
Thanks bro, the goat fr
your both goated 🙏
This video is how i found out the zweihander was in elden ring
The stonesword keys are basically pharros lockstones
22:15 dude totally forgot about pharros lock stones bruh it's legit
i was about to say that more ds2 love
this video will do well in the algorithm i’m manifesting it for u
I don’t know if it’s intentional but the sonic music makes this so cool
2:28 Rayman legends music brought me back home so nice
True
@@LordBackuro lmao both our pfps are menacing af while talking about childhood and wholesome ass game
@
Rayman Legends is one of the most fun games. So yeah
Hell yeah I was waiting for this video
Rayman music? GOD I know this video is gonna be 🔥🔥🔥🙏🙏🙏
Serpent Hunter is the design of the Dragonslayer Swordspear with the effect of the Stormruler. 100% definitely allowed
Bros using the dedicated jump button as if previous dark souls game had that
Could argue that the stone sword keystones are the Elden Ring equivalent of the Fragrant Branch of Yore from Dark Souls 2, only instead of unpetrifying an NPC to unlock a passageway, you're inserting the key to remove a fog wall!
Yeah but that’s just me being a ds2 fanboy
@GameitMicah Lol nothing wrong with that, while it is typically the most dogged on one of the series, DS2 is my personal favorite
ah yes, my favorite game, Elden Souls
Him not using the L2 follow-up with the Serpent Hunter actually hurt me
I think you could argue that stonesword keys are basically pharros lockstones from DS2
At 15:32 I may be wrong but is that Lego Worlds music??
Your music choices are absolutely spectacular
23:37 and now Sea Of Thieves??
The Brawl Soundtrack hit hard af
this is how 95% of "elden ring is unfair/unbalanced/too anime" people play this game
Fire vid, recently found your channel and love the content
Good to hear you're enjoying the content man!
The sheer amount of walking alone commands a sub
Absolutely amazing song choice for the Radahn fight
The running on water bro just straight up became the flash😂
Press LT twice on the serpent hunter for an extra attack
Using the swordstone keys wasnt bending the rules since they are basically just the pharros lockstones from DS2
Ah the classic ds2 rapier nowhere near as beautiful as the day we lost you
love the halo reach song for radahn's fight
You know what was NOT in DS... jumping -__-
loved the halo reach music during the radahn fight
Why did Rykard just sit and take it like a good boy, when I fought him it was literally hell
By that logic any armor is just reskinned armor with the same purpose as bell bearings to ashes xD
PERSONA 3 RELOAD MUSIC HAS HIT MY EARDRUMS RAAAAAAAA
Wait a minute... I thought this guy hated Elden Ring!1!!1!1!! Game It Micah? More like Grift It Micah!
🤣
The music on the Morgott fight was amazingly placed😂😂
Bro didn't even pick up Claymore or Bastard Sword smh
If you think about it, Targoth's and the Verdigris armor are just Havel's set 😂
THEIF SET AND LEATHER SET ARE SAME THINGJUST DIFFERENT NAME.
You're right☹️
Not to mention the chain mail set 😂
I feel your Fire Giant pain, currently doing a rl1 run with Iron balls and I hate it
the serpent-slayer reminds me of nameless king’s sword-spear, and it has wind powers like the king’s storm curved sword
To be fair on the armor thing most of the available stuff has very little defense so having no armor and light roll is probably a better choice than having a mediocre negation and med roll
The executioner’s great axe is basically the Dragonslayer great axe from Ds3 🖤
14:02 Halo reach music so goated ✋😔🤚
I would argue that Stonesword Keys are Pharros Lockstones from DS2
Stonesword Keys are just Pharos Lockstones, so you're good.
open your heart at 4:30 hits so hard
Rayman bg music and Elden Ring? I love you
you could have used the leather armor (patchs armor), i guess its the same in all the games
Key items are okay. I'd even let Torrent pass under that rule.
lovin the rayman legends background music

the song he used for the morgott fight has got me wanting to play some guilty gear
@@ftaasop293 In case you don't know , it's both Rebellion and Rebellion II from the Blazblue OST

If you're playing it like ds3, you can't level up without a fire keeper and weapons only go to +10
ain't no way blud walked all the way, worth a like just for that
There is armor actually, it's the leather armor that patches wears...
That halo reach music 🤌
bro u couldve just used any quote on quote "default knight" armor sets that look most similar to the ones from previous games to NOT torture urself
Rayman music is just 🤌 high cuisine
Seriously appreciate the use of sonic music bro
AND the halo reach music
The Great Club is not cheeks. It's just more a stance break/strong attack weapon
You can use the knights armor from the twin maidens. It's from ds3, right?
Yeaaaah I could have, but I didnt realize it was quite literally the same armor with a little bit of a different look until I was making the thumbnail :/
would be cool to see a return of fume knights ultra great sword
16:04 actually isn't it the same weapon nameless king uses tho?
I would have used the moonlight greatsword
loved the addition of the rayman music
didnt link the first flame (frenzied flame ending), gotta do the challenge again from the start
What's the music for when he fights Radagon and Elden Beast?
The chloranthy ring😭😭
You also had Lighting Spear.
Damn I been doing this playthrough the whole time
W, halo reach theme for radahn fight
No joke the blazblue music fits so well
Great Sword, clang build
Song from the morgott fight?
Rebellion (ragna's theme) from blazblue (basically every blazblue game)
Where's the music credits?😭 I swear I know the boss music during Radagon/Elden Beast but I can't think of where it's from
