Kyu ki ye senior devs ak samai C junior hi to the. Isliye, kuch bhi out of normal karo (even if its redundant) unko lagta hai wah..kya code hai.
new apis and function use krne se code complex nhi simple hota hai .. ha agr tumne vo concept padha an ho tumhe lagega pata nhi kya complex hai but padhne ke baad vo tumne legacy code se bohot simple lagega. example lambda functions.

This is bullshit, you should not encourage complex code in development, it should be easy to understand and keeping code readability in the mind but if you want new functionalities like Lambda then you should ask some interview question around that Lambda is never a good choice in development.
