In this video, we discuss why it is important to not run behind numbers, and focus on a mixture of quality + quantity when it comes to solving Leetcode problems.
    Focus on QPCD
    1. Quality
    2. Pattern
    3. Contests
    4. Diversification
Solving best-quality problems is really important and you can find pattern problems in the A2Z series.

Ego satisfaction is also needed. Yes it shouldn't blind us. We should definitely solve more new problems on our own, giving time. But we can't totally avoid questions for which we know the solution.

don't totally avoid them, but don't spend time on them too, if can be done in 10-15, do them and move on. I never do something that I know, because it does not teach me anything, initially its important, not after a point in time. Like after 1 year of practice, you tend to write error-free code, so the intention was to pass the message that prioritise unknown problems at first

@@nakulkharkwal3730 hello nakul, for leetcode you must know the basics of programming in any language (cpp, java ,,recommended) cover all topics like diff operators, data types , array, vector, set and OOP concepts , dsa (mostly not for easy questions but as you try solving medium or hard questions you will need knowledge of dsa)
The main thing is to build logic on how you can tackle a problem and how well you can optimise your code.

Hiii Striver can you please provide us a random question generator in your 180 and 450 DSA sheet. It will be very helpful for us because we should think that the question is from which topic and which concept we need to solve the problem rather than prior knowledge of topic from which it is. 🙏🙏

everyone goes from same road ,no one is able to solve question at one go remember,so i guess you should go for number, because number will help you to link with new question ,for me numbes matters becuase practice makes man perfect

keep solving same pattern problems till you get some confidence on that pattern problems on your own, striver assumes everybody has greatIQ, IQ evolves as u ll learn more and absorb more.

I don't think it will be a good idea to go for numbers. Think about it: to play soccer/football you need speed so you are just running and running to keep up the speed, but if you don't have the quality like passing the ball, defending the goal post etc. you can't be a good soccer player; the soccer team have to disqualify you. Similar like here, you need to learn the art of problem solving by solving problems by yourself.

I think the best idea is to first go for quantity of questions. then later on you can go for the quality of questions.

Hey @Striver don’t people have the bias to refer/interview candidates having solved more questions compared to quality problems being solved? I am a follower of all your sheets and this is a concern I had for quite some time. Btw thanks for all the wonderful content you have been providing. Cheers.
