That scene was symbolism that Batman is Gotham's light in darkness.
Yeah in the beginning of the film he says something along the line of idk how to help Gotham, but in the end he learned not to be vengeance but something more, he's hope for a better Gotham
I was stunned at that scene. The music, the cinematography, the tone, just everything about it was top notch. Beautiful.

I never thought Nirvana would fit so well in a Batman movie. I loved seeing Batman cruising from Gotham Square to his Batcave while Nirvana played in the background.

Seen it last night,best damn Batman movie ever Robert was born for the role I won't spoil anything but all I can say is that this felt like the long halloween,year one,an arakham game,mask of the phantasm all in one it was just perfect this is the Batman we hard core comic book fans have been waiting for watching it again tonight I just got so many goosebumps and chills when they played this song in the film the scene was just thrilling I couldn't stop thinking about it

This was even more of an adult Batman film than Batman Begins. Batman Begins will always be my favorite but I did like this more than TDK.

As to show what batman is all about and his mannerism and involvement in detective work is very true to its roots in the batman perhaps a bit too hyperrealistic like the gliding scene and all i totally agree this is better batman movie than the rest if we are talking about how close in reality it should be to the comics. But the dark knight is a masterpiece in its own right.

Hands down the best Batman film ever made. The way that they make Batman/Bruce a hurt and lonely vigilante who barely crosses the line of being a hero, there’s clearly a hint of selfishness in Bruce’s actions that’s driven by his anger and hate.
Been loving this song for 30 yrs. So glad it was used to great effect in this movie.

Batman has some solid armour. He can take gun shots to his face and also a bomb explosion and not be scarred. Also survive a rough landing after his wing suit parachute fail. Amazing.
Love how the Director Matt Reeves looked to Kurt Cobain as inspiration for his iteration/version of Bruce Wayne's Batman, he was listening to Nevermind by Nirvana when this track played as he wrote the script. What an amazing interpretation, the movie was fabulous!

Im a huge nirvana fan so when i heard the song start to play and how good it sounded with the theater speakers and his narration while driving to the bat cave, i got hella chills but it was honestly beautiful asf
Man, that legendary shot where Batman is coming for Penguin with all those flames behind him.
Really badass for the audience but actually really scary from Penguin's upside-down perspective.
Something I found hilarious about the movie was that when this song came on, Batman started narrating just as Kurt Cobain started to say “it’s okay to eat fish ‘cause they don’t have any feelings”, like they didn’t want the audience to get distracted by that lyric.

Side note, there’s a bit in the movie where he takes a hit from a fall after doing something cool, and I immediately got flashbacks to an old parody trailer for the Dark Knight where he lands on the car like he does in the original trailer except the style is replaced with pain.

I have been saying this since ages. My mind has been blown. If not second in line it stands equal to The Dark Knight. With Heath there the movie got an added intensity. The Batman is just perfection,every single damn scene was so good and I'm talking every second,no boring parts at all Robert Pattinson was born to be Batman. Micheal Keaton was always my favourite but Pattinson has officially taken the the title,he just took the character to a whole new level. He's the best Batman and Bruce Wayne,no other actor's ever done that,Keaton was a better Batman and Bale was a better Bruce Wayne. But Pattinson is perfect as both,he does the mystery the best too because I keep forgetting he's an actor I literally don't see Robert Pattinson or "vampire boy" I see Bruce Wayne. And the way he looks in that mask OMFG IT'S SO ACCURATE!! He looks raged,blood thirsty,insane,intimidating,serious,menacing,feared,like he hasn't slept for days. That is the Batman I know and love from the comics,the animated series/movies and the arkham games. Everyone was perfectly casted especially Jeffery Wright as Gordon I love it how they got the relationship/partnership right with Bruce and Jim I honestly felt like I was watching an episode of the animated series. Beyond words and everyone just looks so perfectly comic book accurate,the penguin,catwoman,Riddler not so much but he sure looks better than his comic book counterpart that's for sure. This is defiantly my favourite Batman movie ever of all time,before this I never felt fully satisfied with a live action Batman movie,Keatons Batman didn't have enough movies,TDK trilogy had too many boring acting scenes,terrible fight choreography it was just terribly ridiculous,criminally overrated,over shadowed by the Joker,Bruce Wayne retires as Batman? Not satisfied at all,Affleck? Eh he was ok,but this Batman movie is the one I've been waiting for,I finally have a proper live action Batman movie that feels just like year one,the long halloween and more Batman is officially back on the big screen. I just love the opening scene when you hear Bruce's voice,the way the criminals instantly get afraid when they see the signal. And the way they were looking at the shaodws was done so well even I was feeling the fear and chills,that's exactly how Batman should be. I've seen this movie 4 times now and I'm just gonna watch it again and again until they stop showing it in my theater. When Robert Pattinson first got announced as Batman everyone was losing it,dissing the guy but when I first heard I just knew he was the right guy and when I read about the plot,the style. And when I heard that Matt Reeves was basing the movie off year one,the long halloween,then when I saw Roberts screen test with the main theme in the background I was just hooked. I just knew it was going to be the best damn Batman ever and it looks like I was right,man I'm so excited for the sequel and to see more of this Bat universe oh we're in for one hell off a ride. This film felt like a mix of year one,the long halloween,mask of the phantasm and an arkham game all in one. And let's not forget about the legendary Andy Serkis easily the best Alfred ever. I just loved the father and son moment he had with Bruce in the hospital,they didn't need to show no deep connection moments to show that Bruce loves Alfred like his father. That scene where he said he was afraid of losing someone he cares about and held his hand just clearly shows how much he loves and appreciates Alfred. Oh I love this film. And that incredible,outstanding fight scene in the iceberg lounge was straight out of the arkham games.
