Hello, I am a resin mold supplier, I have a store on Amazon which you may find by searching brand name "phinicco" and I have a batch of products selling at a loss price to shift stock, there are alphabet molds, coaster molds, domino molds, and measuring cups and stir sticks, all at clearing stock price due to covid-19 crisis.
That was so much fun to watch and so much fun to make I bet. I love all the fiddly bits that you put into the shell. I wish I could get all the moulds and little trinkets so I could have a go at making this beautiful mirror compact. Very jealous🤢
Wow so pretty just love 💘 it. You are amazing and awesome. Do you have a teaching video on how to color with the pigment colors. So I can learn 😌. Thanks Lisa
If you wanted to, you could do a magnetic closure on the cat compact. Put a magnet in one ear on the bottom mold before you pour the resin, and one in the ear on the top half. Just be sure that you figure out how much to put in the first layer, then cure it, then put magnet and top it off with more resin and cure!
I’ve been looking at these moulds, particularly the cat one. I love how you put the seahorses (my favourite animal) and pearls on the shell compact, but the cat one I didn’t like as much, it felt a bit rushed and not as pretty as the shell one. On the plus side, I initially bought UV resin because I wanted to create designs in the mould and cure them when I was ready. I didn’t get on that well with it and switched to epoxy, but this video has inspired me to use it in different ways in the things I make.
Total Boat has super great "A/B" resin. Sophie & Toffee has awesome UV resin. Both cure well, don't yellow over time, and release any bubbles with a spray of 90^ isopropyl alchohol, or with a quick blast on the full mould surface with a propane torch. Hope that's helps. Also "Bramble:Berry " sells top notch superior highly pigmented Mica powders, & biodegradable eco friendly glitter 👍😊
Love them! I bought them via a different route and played with the seashell and round compact. It is easier to have everything in one mold because those smaller pieces can get lost pretty easily. Love how you made them!
sandrartes they are! I have the cat mold too! The only one. I didn’t get was the rose one. I love the colors you choose and those pearls really made it stand out🥰
Huh...I think you could just use the top half of the shell mold twice and make a pretty good cosplay project for Hanyo no Yashahime..Inuyasha's daughter has a shell compact that holds the rouge she uses to power up and it's about this size but since she was born in ancient Japan the compact is kept together by some thread via small holes drilled at the base of the shell. The top half of this mold looks about the same so all you'd have to do is make a pure white shell mold from the top half twice, use a small drill to make a hole big enough and then some read thread to tie them together.
as always i luved the tutorial! i was wondering tho.. i have these molds and well.. have u got a way to make them stay shut?? like if its in someones purse, or they want to keep something in it?? there isnt really room to put even a tiny magnet on the bottom pieces lip 🤔 im hoping u have a brilliant idea so i dont have to make and attach an extra piece of resin inside to sink a magnet in it lol.. thanks for listening and hopefully u can help!❤
I love these mold but I wish they fix it. The mirror work better on top and the bottom should be the solid part. Imagine if you open it, you would find it almost impossible to use unless you flip it upside-down. I realize this after making a few how cute but impractical the mold were. Like did I place the mirror wrong? Nope it really is place in the bottom so it is harder to use. BTW your compact are so cute and as usual, impress at the shaker.
I love the seashell so much! Question, @5:41 are you putting the resin on top of the shaker film or under? I’ve wanted to try resin for a while now (and binged most of your videos lol) and I think this is the project I’d like to try first :) thanks!
Thank you Ivy! 😊 The resin goes on top of the shaker film. I placed the shaker film a little bit lower so the last coat of resin could be leveled and not cause issues when closing the box. ;)
Another great video. I really want the mica(?) you used on the shell but none of the links go to the right products hun. I have a question, the brush you spread the uv resin with, do you clean it or leave it protected from uv? If you do clean it, please share how. Thanks Also I wish you would wear gloves with the uv resin too
@Joeyr No I know, but I can't. I'm using a phone and don't have a laptop and watching in a browser usually fails for me. Besides, that's not what I meant. I meant that the music sounds kiddy is all - which is fine.
I so want a compact mirror like this shell one!
Beautiful work love the colors. And the sea design. Thanks for teaching us.❤❤❤😊 Lisa
Un lavoro di artista.........MERAVIGLIOSA !!!!!!!👍🤗😍

Now i wanna make mirrors. So cute

My fave is the cat compact
I had to make the cat! I love cats!! 🤗🤗💕💕
Wow very pretty design. What kind of torch/flashlight is that?
I'm here...I'm here! I can't wait to see what you do with these! 💜💜💜💜
Cuuuuute!
The light you're using is 150w but do you think a 54w would be strong enough to set UV resin?
Can i use eyeshadow if I don’t have pigment powder?

So you didn’t need gloves before or ?
Initially she was working with UV resin. Then wore gloves when she switched to epoxy resin.

When you don't show how many likes and dislikes there are on a video, we can't see how many sad losers there are who dislike it.
Please give me that I am not joking I want the shell one
