Beach Camping On Bolivar Peninsula

Texas allows boondock beach camping in many areas of its Gulf Coast. With an annual $10 beach pass you can pull into any allowed areas and camp. Some areas, such as the stretch we were in did not require the permit, but it is best to check the signs at the entrance to confirm the current regulations. We were here to relax, so did not go to the many sanctuary locations of interest, nor take the ferry to Galveston to shop, or eat. But those are options available while in the area.
Our one-night stop in Marshall, TX. at the Laguna Vista RV Park is notable, because they have a fair price ($35 at this filming) and provide a Good Sam's discount.
