Hello, we are Chuck and Paula and CALI (Cram-A-Lot-In) residents of Arkansas and avid campers. As weekenders, we have learned that setup and environment set the mood of the overall experience. Direct sunlight in the heated Summer, sites with poor runoff and prone to hold water, or sites next to a noisy facility can dampen the experience. Research, reviews, and planning are the backbone of any great camping trip. However, most of our state parks and COE parks do not provide much information, other than vehicle length, width, and hookups available. A few do advocate restrictions on specific sites within their camp. We are making an effort to provide more information about the campgrounds we visit in our travels through our videos. Hopefully, we can make the camping experience more enjoyable for campers by providing more pertinent detailed information about popular parks within our state.

Celebrating Our 50th With A Hike Into Bryce Canyon
มุมมอง 3728 วันที่ผ่านมา
We chose to celebrate our Golden wedding anniversary with a camping trip West to visit a few of the most favored national parks in the US. Why? Well, 50 years ago our honeymoon was a weekend in Branson, MO. in Paula's Mom and Dad's little foldout camper. During our courting and after our marriage vows we spent a lot of time with them weekend camping in different areas of Arkansas. So, it seemed...
Celebrating 50th Anniversary in Roswell, NM

It seemed a no brainer to add Roswell to our travel between Carlsbad and White Sands. It was a great stop to catch up on the hype for Area 51.

White Sands National Park was another park we wanted to visit during the celebration of our 50 years together.
Celebrating our 50th in New Mexico and Carlsbad Caverns
มุมมอง 105หลายเดือนก่อน
We started our trip targeting Carlsbad, New Mexico as our first official national park to visit. Of course, since I had been there during a trip to climb to the Guadalupe Peak a few years ago, I wanted to take Paula to visit that national park, too.
Hiking Zion's Narrows and Emerald Pools trails
มุมมอง 158หลายเดือนก่อน
We are celebrating our 50th anniversary by checking out some of the most visited national parks West of us. This leg of the trip is to Zion and hiking a couple of its popular trails. The Emerald Pools hike was challenging, but fun. Wish we had been more prepared when doing the Narrows because we did not bring a change of shoes, or water shoes to cross the river in. So, we watch as those who wer...

Celebrating 50 Years Visiting The Arches National Park
มุมมอง 112หลายเดือนก่อน
We were able to get a 3pm pass into the Arches the day we were in the area. We went to the Dead Horse State Park Point and returned to start our visit of three arches of interest and hikes. Sand Dune Arch and the nearby Broken Arch (2 mile hike round trip). Then the Delicate Arch which is about 3 miles round trip knowing we would be pushing the daylight to dark window.
Celebrating 50 Years Together With Expedition's "Great Chamber and Peekaboo Slot Canyon Tour"
มุมมอง 98หลายเดือนก่อน
We chose this tour on the recommendation of friends from church and the cost compared to others, such as the Antelope Canyon tours. We were not disappointed. The Expedition Tour group are top notch and would do it again to some of the other sites offered. @www.expeditionkanab.com/

ARK Encounter and the Creation Museum

Our Jeep went to the shop, so we canceled our preplanned trip and took our grandson, Zane to the Ark and Creation Museum in Williamstown, KY. On the way we made stops at Casey Jones museum in Jackson, TN, the Corvette museum in Bowling Green, KY, and the Bass Pro Shop in the pyramid in Memphis, TN. If you plan on visiting the ARK, I would suggest that you view the video; Ken Ham Reveals Hidden ...
Bull Shoal White River State Park

This is the second year we have spent July 4th at the park. It is a great and well-maintained park. Lots of opportunities and things to do. Boating, swimming, fishing, kayaking, etc. There is a marina on the river within the park, so you can easily float the White River, rent a boat, with or without a guide and fish for trout. www.google.com/search?q=bull shoals white river state park&rlz=1C1YT...
SUMMERTIME: Toad Suck Park REVISITED

th-cam.com/video/m0x1E2g9LpY/w-d-xo.html Paula and I returned to Toad Suck Park to camp in the Summer. We like this campground for many reasons and recommend it. If you decide to camp here, which we hope you will do, be prepared in case you get a site that requires extra accessories to get and maintain a level RV. During our last visit, we reviewed the park and the challenge of setting up in so...

Loved the music. You grandson is a lucky kid. :) Thanks for sharing!
Thank you.
I just recently picked up my Scamp Lite and I am heading over the Galveston way. I appreciate all your info on this area. Looks like you both had a good trip.
We did. We just enjoy kicking back on the Bolivar beach because it is not as populated as those on the West side of Galveston and we do not tend to get into the water. Plus, Bolivar is just across the bay from Galveston, so we take the camper on the ferry (free) for the 2 mile trip into the city. They have public parking areas and you can catch a city trolley to about any place you want to go.
Also, the section of beach accessed from Rettilon Road does not required the annual $10 pass according to the posted signs there.
Thank you for the addiction info. I appreciate it!
Awesome. We are in New Mexico heading that way.
The visitor center was very informative concerning stopping points within the parks.
Thanks for the hike and recording this because I won’t be doing that. Respect.
Thank you for watching. It really was an easy hike.
Very nice
Thanks
Awesome, we're glad you like the leveling system!
Thanks again!
gopro windslayer will cut down on the wind noise.
Thanks for the feedback. I actually have the Taisioner Windslayer Cover on for this recording. I have another Windslayer version I plan on trying before considering an external mic. If anyone has experience in this area, please let us know.
