My Viper Maxx rocks my shop, but it's a few years old and doesn't have this feature. A few months ago I spoke to one of your techs about getting the software on my machine updated & was told I would have to ship part of my machine back to igrouptech for this to happen, which just isn't practical, I can't be without my pretreater for that length of time. Have you given any thought to providing a kit to customers so they can upgrade their pretreater in-house? I can't imagine it's that difficult... And I imagine there are other features I am missing that would be useful.
Unfortunately the PLC would need to be reprogrammed and that requires our proprietary software. There is the option of shipping in JUST the PLC and screen, but yes, you would experience some downtime with this.
Another option is to utilize the bar code scanner on the machine.
