When I first saw this in music class, I swear I was going to faint. Not only at this age was I loving PTX music, but I had just starting loving Star Wars. I want to thank Pentatonix, for giving a thoughtful and beautiful performance that I will always remember.
I just came here after listening to them sing ET on Sing Off and I'm just so incredibly proud of how far they've come and improved in the last few years. They've all grown so elegantly.
If you're going to be so brutal, the least you could do is write YOUR post correctly, with correct punctuation and using the occasional capital letter at the beginning. At any rate, poorly written or not, there was no call for that abuse.
He has a lot of famous scores so it would've taken a while to go through them all so they mentioned a few. Hell they left out Jurassic Park, Superman, Home Alone, Close Encounters and several more so it's understandable if they left out Harry Potter.

I 💞 PENTATONIX don't care if they use music or not , still one of the BEST acapella bands I EVER heard and seen ....SIMPLY AMAZING...the crowd at the #AMA looked mind blowing by their performance 🎤😘🎶 of STAR WARS theme 👏👏👏👏💯💯 and it is great they can switch up their style ...even with instruments backing them up ...you still can hear their angelic 😇 voices bursting over the instruments 😊

If you like John Williams and Star Wars tributes, there was an acappella medley by a comedy group called Moosebutter, way back in 2005. All the lyrics are lines from Star Wars, and all the tunes are from various John Williams' movie themes. So you have stuff like "Someone move this walking carpet" to the tune of Jaws; "kiss a Wookiee, kick a droid" to the tune of Indiana Jones; "no one cares if you upset a droid" to the Superman theme...
I believe Mitch was dressed as Anakin Skywalker, explains why he has one glove on like Anakin in ROTS. I think Scott was dressed as Luke Skywalker because his outfit kind of looks like Lukes in ROTJ. Avi gives me more Palpatine vibes than Darth Vader tbh.

Denver has a wonderful accapella group that has also done world tours to great success in Europe. They are named Face. Look up them if you like accapella. Their beat box guy sounds just like a drum kit.
Given the ages of the Pentatonix members, I imagine most of their parents are roughly my age and thus children when Star Wars first shown on the silver screen. Their parents must have been having a super emotional moment watching this performance. I mean I was all squee and I'm not even related. lol
I love this group. They always look good and sound great! Kirstie looks HOT, done up better than Padme was in any of the movies (how do you do that?). Mitch did a sweet solo, and as usual, the group sounded tight and powerful...that is until the orchestra came in. Did anyone else feel the cheeze factor from about 3:45 on? Accapella means without instruments, I felt bad for them singing lalala daaa daaa lalala daaadaaa along with a legit orchestra. As much as I love this group AND Star Wars, it always feels kindof lame when they get to the part where they try to keep up with such a large ensemble, seemed kindof unfair to put them in that position. They still pulled it off tho, kudos to PTX!! Shame on AMA for making an acapella group sing with a big symphony orchestra!
People who don't think pentatonix doesn't go well with the orchestra your wrong they combine wonderfully with the band and I think wether or not with the band they sound awesome and I respect that
