Sounds good to me. The essence of stacking is to make it a routine to the extent possible. It's like dedicating money towards a savings or retirement account on a regular basis. It really is amazing at how regular additions, even when smaller than we might like, add up. I also like to keep some cash on hand in case of an emergency. Thanks to that, I won't need to dip into my PMs stack to pay an unexpected bill, unless something truly awful comes along. Here's hoping that nothing like that does happen but if it does, well, that's one of the reasons why it is good to stack PMs.
My plan is that I don't have a plan. That way my plan can never get messed up! I'm up to messing with seeds and working to germinate them for spring 🌱 planting at the moment though.

I started with pre 1933 gold because I collected O minted coins. I have moved to 1/4 and 1/2 oz, 22 k after I found your channel about end of 2022. Once I started just fell in love with gold and or silver. Bills are first. Thank you for channel.
Thank you for helping people find peace. There are so many channels that cater to the fear side and it scares people into buying in all out once. More need to talk about a smaller achievable goal to start and try to purchase over time. Well done
I agree and in general see anyone using fear as a component of their sales pitch as catering to the dark side. This includes anyone selling everything from goods, to PMs, to politics, and religion. Anyone using fear to sell these things should be ignored because the chance of them being right are minimal. I like to calculate the odds of various scenarios. This is not true math but it does have a math component to it. Low odds means that something is very unlikely to happen. I note that this *could* happen but that it's unlikely. Still, I can dedicate a small amount of my resources to it and consider it as insurance. High odds means that something is likely to happen and this is where I want to dedicate the bulk of my resources. In no case that I know of is becoming hysterical about something helpful in finding a solution.
another positive for quarter oz coins is selling them online. feels less risky selling a $500 piece compared to a $2000 1oz piece. of course if just selling to LCD that isn't an issue and makes more sense to buy 1oz to save on premiums.
Can you do a video on your books? And how many of them have you actually read? I can understand how any person could read the count of monte cristo. But war and peace? That takes a different kind of character.
War and Peace is a giant undertaking. 😄 It’s meant to be two books, and even then it takes a commitment. I have read all the books that show up here. I probably should have just bought them in lots - that would have been a lot cheaper and would have given me a few to get to eventually. Cheers!
If your cash flow can cause you to live life the way you want., that is better than savings., Also important to realize the current cycle, and that is gold will have another 10 year bull run and will hit 5-15k., because of the re-evaluation or reset of the dollar which the powers that be are setting up.
Hey 2! Have always appreciated your visuals, videos, and ability to drive a message about gold. I shoot photo and video professionally, and am feeling like camera settings have changed in the last few uploads. There’s a bit of motion blur on your hand coming in and out that looks a bit choppy. Rule of thumb is to always shoot with a shutter speed that’s double your recoding frame rate. I could be wrong, but I’m thinking you’re a click below this. Either way I hope you have an amazing day and keep up the excellent content. 😊
Yeah, you got it. New camera setup. I’m a few clicks below. Aperture and ISO are competing with shutter speed. The trick has been lengthening the depth of field without getting grainy. So far I’ve only been able to choose two of the three, but I’m working at it. Thanks for the note. I’m definitely no pro with video.
@@2is1gold "So far I’ve only been able to choose two of the three..." This reminds me of the old saying about the speed, price, and quality of acquiring goods, where we can pick any 2 of them. 😀
@@2is1gold you still have the best looking videos on the topic and I genuinely appreciate the effort you put into your shots! I’d try opening the aperture more to compensate for the shutter going faster, then change the cameras focus mode. Maybe a smaller center point, and just stay conscious of it when bringing a coin up the the lens. But really tho your work is already gorgeous. I’m just being picky watching as I eat my cereal.
I love your videos very sound, the premium on the coins is high, what about stacking the gold bars, looking at starting with gold but also budgeting, anyone’s thoughts on buying bars like 10gram bars

Good advice in general much appreciated! As I’m from UK your thoughts on buying Gold or Silver from Royal Mint & storing there? I just got a lump sum from an inheritance and I’m bit concerned with keeping this in Banks. Royal Mint claim they will buy it back at any point? Therefore until I work out my best way to invest this as this is just about to land in what looks like a Banking crisis🤦🏻♂️ Im just looking to bank it safely & have immediate access to it once I’ve weighed up my options... Cheers Marlon
Putting a portion of it in precious metals. Another Brit once talked about his mother not being able to make ends meet on her pension. She couldn't get any extra services, because she had £20,000 in savings and she had to spend it all before she would be eligible for those services. If she had had those savings in precious metals under the table, she would have been able to get the extra services that she needed. I don't know what those services were, but I assume that they would have been things like medicine, eye care, dental, etc.
The NSW references apply to how one approaches problems. Most plebes have a supply side problem with a lack of capital due to getting wrapped around the axle on meaningless trinkets and keeping up with the Jones's throughout life. Sounds good to me. The essence of stacking is to make it a routine to the extent possible. It's like dedicating money towards a savings or
retirement account on a regular basis. It really is amazing at how regular additions, even when smaller than we might like, add up. I also
like to keep some cash on hand in case of an emergency. Thanks to that, I won't need to dip into my PMs stack to pay an unexpected bill,
unless something truly awful comes along. Here's hoping that nothing like that does happen but if it does, well, that's one of the reasons
why it is good to stack PMs.
The jump in gold prices put a hold on my buying for now, but just bought a 1oz. Buffalo before it jumped up, though.
My plan is that I don't have a plan. That way my plan can never get messed up!
I'm up to messing with seeds and working to germinate them for spring 🌱 planting at the moment though.
😅😅 to funny lool
If you never love, you can never be hurt. I get it. I watch the movies.
@@OldRoute66 I need some gold plant seeds first! 🤪 Do the buffalo 🦬 coins work?
Could you cover a video on BRICS and what it could do for PM in your opinion, Thanks
Preparation for any disaster makes disasters easier to get through, that includes financial disasters. I'm late replying because still trying to recover from a concert last night
I don’t recover from concerts as quick as I used to. 😂
All good advice, love your channel.
Thank you!
I started with pre 1933 gold because I collected O minted coins. I have moved to 1/4 and 1/2 oz, 22 k after I found your channel about end of 2022. Once I started just fell in love with gold and or silver. Bills are first. Thank you for channel.

Wise words.
Sound advice is worth it's weight in gold. Thank you for your thoughts and content.
🤜🤛
Love your journey!
If you don’t mind me asking? When you started the 1/4oz a month for 8 years. How much was a 1/4oz going for?
Give or take.
$350 - $400ish. I bought some silver each month as well, but that wasn’t as scheduled. Cheers!
That is sage advice, for sure!
🤜🤛
Like that stack, including the books and the libation.

Commenting for algorithm again. Always a wonderful job.
Thank you!
Think about silver for savings too, especially with the silver gold ratio around 90.
Brand new to this. Very thankful for your content. I will have to start very slowly. Would appreciate any advice. Mahalo!
Thank you for helping people find peace. There are so many channels that cater to the fear side and it scares people into buying in all out once. More need to talk about a smaller achievable goal to start and try to purchase over time. Well done
I hope that gets out. There's definitely too much noise and not enough signal. Cheers!
I agree and in general see anyone using fear as a component of their sales pitch as catering to the dark side. This includes anyone selling
everything from goods, to PMs, to politics, and religion. Anyone using fear to sell these things should be ignored because the chance of
them being right are minimal. I like to calculate the odds of various scenarios. This is not true math but it does have a math component
to it. Low odds means that something is very unlikely to happen. I note that this *could* happen but that it's unlikely. Still, I can dedicate
a small amount of my resources to it and consider it as insurance. High odds means that something is likely to happen and this is where
I want to dedicate the bulk of my resources.
Cheers!
I don't have any Eagles, that has to be a reason to buy ....right?Great advice for starting out ,wish I had come across your channel earlier.Cheers.
Cheers!
Thank you for the 'Leroy Jenkins' reference. Made my day 🙂
Ha! I’m glad a few people got it! 😅
I can definitely say that sometimes those pause moments occur, but stick with the plan long-term 👍👌

@@2is1gold "So far I’ve only been able to choose two of the three..."
This reminds me of the old saying about the speed, price, and quality of acquiring goods, where we can pick any 2 of them.
I'd recommend making a quick call to a local shop to make sure they're okay buying bars before buying them. Britannias and Kangaroos can usually be found for only slightly higher premium. Cheers!
Great job, sir OUTSTANDING!
🤜🤛
I like that 1/4 oz a month plan. I may modify it like an oz every 4 months.
You’ll save a lot on premium that way. Cheers!
My plan right now is to pick up one more 1/10 oz Gold coin. Wait for dips and start purchasing 1/4 oz Gold Eagles if the price is right. The prices right now definitely have me in a holding pattern. I want to get two ounces of gold coins stacked this year. I’m already almost at 1oz this year so far.
Nice!
gonna hold dollars for now. gotta pay taxes still and some other junk on the credit card.
bought a geissele upper which is very nice.that may be it for a while
Nice!
Great Message - focused and steady!

Your intros with country music are the best 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I wanted to pick up some gold at my lcs, but they were out of the small coins in my budget range so I went with some platinum instead. I hoping to get a better job soon so I can complete my minimum gold goal by the end of summer.
I've been very slowly stacking the 1/10 oz age. Anything bigger just doesn't fit my budget right now.

Great video. Simplicity is genius

Great point as always 2/1.
When it's all said and done, never have we seen a hearse followed by a Brinks truck. Food for thought; cheers!
Good point. Cheers!
Plain & simple thankyou
🙏
I would like to say that I really enjoy listening to your channel. You come from a very level headed based advice and information and that is very attractive. Also, your shorts are great! Thanks for the content and keep up the great work!
Great video as always bro. I was hoping you might do another one about all those cool knives you have. And also please tell me where you get all those beautiful books even though I probably can’t afford them.
A lot of the books are Easton Press. Cheers!
Broke down today and bought 1/4oz of gold.
Taking your advise and minimum of 1/4oz per month.
Me too 👍

@@wcgamer9379nice 😎 looking more and more like $2000 is about to become support so no time better then the present.
I am waiting for a better price on gold but not upset if it continues to go higher.
I'm with you. Cheers!
Bravo! Very meaningful content. I’m a fan of stoicism 😊
Thanks! It’s a old how relevant it is today, two thousand years later. Cheers!
@@2is1gold That's the thing about truth and logic... fads come and go but they are timeless.
How do we get more people to watch your videos? Especially all the panicky people who love doing "bank runs" when the Boogie Man howls. Shit, man, your approach surely needs to be heard by the masses and not just the few. Thank you for being on the side of sanity.
Thanks. This helped and gave me some good ideas
Good luck!
I agree, the odd size of the Maples makes them hard for me to stack too. Probably my OCD 😉
22mm should be the law. 😄
