I saw Paint the Magic for the first time in 2016 during my 2nd trip to Disneyland ever. I teared up so much. Back in Orlando, nothing this spectacular can be pulled off that I could think of. This is my favorite Disney parade of all time! I still listen to the soundtrack to this day.
Amazing parade. It can't leave for decades.

You should bring paint the night to walt disney world's 50th birthday. That way they can bring the main street electrical parade back to disneyland.

and The original Disneyland copy from The MSEP is now at The Magic Kingdom in 2010

+Cwilliam I saw you're comment about the MSEP bringing back to Disneyland but i got some bad news MSEP was officially retired in Disneyland's parade route. There best option to go is on Disneyland Paris when WDW will have a Paint the Night Electrical Parade soon since Paris don't have a night time parade anymore ever since they stopped the Disney's Fantillusion Parade back in 2012 but the parade was not officially retired yet.
I doint think the MSEP has retired. because i herd disney say not to do changes to the MSEP. because disneyland still has onwership of the parade.(thats why the drum says disneys electrical parade & not MSEP). but i guess will just have to see what disney has to say. (if they hear about this).
Cwilliam Paint the Night is the official replacement of MSEP and DEP.

The day when you all even announced Disney Paint The Night Electrical Parade ,
Did you know that there are probably a number of fans that know where that parade actually came from ?
And in case you didn`t get it , Hong Kong Disneyland called .
That parade came from us before you mixed in the big drum inspired by the Main Street Electrical Parade .
Just thought I`d run that by you .

Disney it's an American company so technically the parade it's from the U.S and disneyland gets like 16 millions people per year and hong kong disneyland just 8 million

I technically agree with you but bare in mind that there are still 2 versions of the same parade running at the same time in a way and to paraphrase what Simon Cowell said on American Idol one time to someone about when you perform something that you will be compared to the original . The difference is the Performance here is the Disney Paint The Night Parade and that there is a Hong Kong Disneyland Version ( the original version ) and the Disneyland California USA Version ( 2nd Version ) .

In fact even beyond Disneyland's 60th Diamond Celebration , Are Disney Parks allowed to decorate their castles to celebrate their milestone year anniversaries or is that an unwritten sin to you because the decorations make it look like they have made the whole castle disappear in your thought process ?

Well the good thing is the earlier version (less floats) is still in Hong Kong (pre covid), so if you ever get to visit after covid it could be done!
The ONLY complaint I have about this parade is the choice of using 'modern' pop music. To me that doesn't fit ANY Disney nighttime spectacular. thats more for the daytime parades.

Paint the night parade sucks to be honest but I like Tokyo Disneyland electrical parade it has the same charm as Main Street Electrical Parade
By look back do you mean look back one year ago and take the existing Hong Kong Disneyland's Paint The Night Parade add Frozen and call it brand new? boo to you Disneyland I know you could do better!!!
Paint the Night was created specifically for Disneyland but they opened it in Hong Kong first to see how they would react to it.
+MegaSoulhero Yup, you are right. Disney don't want to see some disappointed fans again like what happened to Light Magic back in 1997. They made a HK Disneyland version before to see the people's reaction if it was a worthy parade to watch then it became to Disneyland Resort after a positive reviews and it got the same reaction when it premiers to California.
