@hudsonS238 I mean, the 1939 suit is incredibly silly for the dark knight. The blue and grey one can't mix with the shadows and, for the DARK KNIGHT, that's not the best thing. It also lacks detail, it has just the core elements. The grey and black one lacks detail too, and the golden belt is probably too goofy. Tbh I love them all, I'm just trying to see why so many people don't.
@@wiggardyeah i think that’s a common issue with Batman’s mythos, in that he was transformed from the campiest superhero of all time in the 60s, to the definition of serious, dark and brooding superhero by the 80’s. And it’s not easy to honor and balance the old mythos with the new mythos in a way that doesn’t seem super out of place (ahem, Batman and Robin 1997). Especially to people who don’t really care for campy Batman at all. (I like campy Batman myself, it’s a dude running around in a cape and a bat costume, I think you have to some sort of a sense of humor about it)
the Knight Beyond suit really sells the whole "one man vs an army" feel, probably my favourite suit in the game. (also love how they made the blackened mouth make sense through tinted glass. much better than just seeing the suit as a nanotech bodysuit that keeps his mouth exposed or smth.)
I was never a huge, dark Knight fan, so I didn’t even watch it a lot around the time it came out going back. I think the suit looks so silly. It looks better here in the game.

@@toasterwaffleowen4709 I love the City suit but Knight has an awesome suit in my opinion. It felt to me like it was a prototype of sorts to Terry's beyond suit, bulkier, more protective, with a lot more of Bruce's design philosophy in there. It isn't Terry's suit in Knight, it's Bruce's.

As a comic fan I fully agree with 99% of this list. I look at it in a sense of does it look good in the game? Most of the comic style ones do not look good in the game especially when they're contrasted to what everyone else is wearing in the game.

I love how universally the Batman Beyond Batsuit in Knight is loved by pretty much everyone. That suit is so cool I use it practically everytime I play Knight.
The silliest ones are my favourite. Zur En Arrh and Year One (Knight) are my go-to. But I do agree that the military and tactical updates work really well with the Beyond aesthetic
They didn't do the suit right, it looks more like one of the other variations of the suit in origins, the darker version of it. They should've done the original with the correct color scheme and proportions.

With the Arkham city Batman beyond suit you could literally see the entire muscle anatomy of Batman. He had every muscle on him visible from the suit. He'd show his calves while gliding, his entire back, the traps, rhomboids, lata, shoulders, chest abs, triceps
one thing a lot of people forget too is that the BB suit also gives a strength boost canonically so the strength of knight batman plus that suit he would 100% struggle on trying not to kill anyone 💀💀
That honestly looks more like the best take ever in an anti Superman suit, just like the ones from bvs and Dark Knight Rises. Just give it green lights of kriptonite instead of orange and it beats the crap out of Superman

In my opinion the Batman Beyond Suit (City) is quite possibly one of the best alternate videogame costumes ever, they even added the proper wings, I mean me being 10 years old and seeing that for the first time I just thought it was the coolest thing ever and it still is
To me Arkham Knight suit is almost peak. I love the how technologically advanced it is while still retaining a menacing look. It's the perfect endgame suit. (AK Beyond suit is peak)

It's funny how different the Beyond suit on Knight is from the source material, to the point some people might not even recognize it, but I've never seen someone say it's a bad suit.

The AK Beyond is the perfect template for how all suits should of been handled, how this Batman would make the suit rather than a 1:1, it also feels like a suit from a sequel we never got
Nah. They should do a new suit that lays somewhere between the 2 Beyond suits. This one is cool but is too different from the og Beyond suit to pay proper homage in live action. But the original is too bland to translate into live action. So they need to design a new suit.

God, the AK Beyond suit is god tier, because not only does the cape retract when not gliding, but the cowl is actually animated to open up Ironman style for every scene its removed in game.
I remember doing a whole playthrough of Arkham City with the Batman Beyond skin. It was amazing. And when I played Arkham Knight with the 1989 skin and 1989 Batmobile, it was so awesome.

Base Suit: 6/10 (The Batman did young, angry, and armoured Bruce so much better in every way. This suit is just bulky and impractical looking but I’m feeling nice cause it looks decent in gameplay)

Long Halloween: 4/10 (Never looked good outside the context of the original comic)
Red Son: 7/10 (In Soviet Union even Batman wears ushanka)
Gaslight: 9/10 (Closest we’ll ever get to that cancelled Gotham by Gaslight game (It would’ve probably been shit either way))
New 52: 4/10 (The less armoured the suit the more necessary the trunks and this suit isn’t nearly armoured enough to drop them)

One Million: Batman One Million? More like Batman 1/10 (it’s probably more so a 2 but it’s stupid and impractical either way)
Round Table: 7/10 (Should’ve been black instead of Blue and the cowl is dumb but well translated)

To me Arkham Knight suit is almost peak. I love the how technologically advanced it is while still retaining a menacing look. It's the perfect endgame suit. (AK Beyond suit is peak)
