    Get the boundless. Then wait 24 months to get the Brilliant. If there's a sign-up bonus/requirement for the Brilliant, meet it. Then, product change the Boundless for Ritz.

    I have the Hilton Aspire, Hilton Surpass, Chase Marriott Boundless, and Choice Privileges Select, all which had great SUBs but are also great keeper cards on their own assuming you travel enough during the year. Nice that's awesome! It sounds like you have a ton of diversity in your hotel points and exposure to different hotel programs which is awesome in terms of different options you'll have for trips. On a side note the customer service on the Ritz is chefs kiss. Call in, immediate human. No silly automated menus or being on hold. Also the travel credit you can do via secure message.
    The Bonvoy Brilliant is the clearly “worse value” of the bunch but if you can’t get platinum status via spending 75k on the RC card or stays this is the way I suppose.

    • @MattWelterOfficial
      @MattWelterOfficial  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Nice! Yeah I don't have the Ritz Card yet but I've heard great things about the customer service options there. While I agree the 85k “free night” award with Marriott is valuable I still feel like I have to cherry pick the hotel unlike the Aspire. As a real world example, I live near Charleston, SC and picked a weekend I want to go in May, I looked at Marriott and there are a few hotels that are not allowing rooms to be booked on points and there are others in the 150-160k point per night range which makes the most valuable component of the Marriott cards a lot less valuable.

    Can you do the same battle royal for $95 af hotel cards? I never need a fancy place to stay, i just see hotels as places where i sleep for 6 hours (vegas), pay for an 18 hr/ day room (maybe 90 minutes awake total in said room), and have bedbug paranoia. @headlibrarian1996 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@newagain9964 It’s junk for three reasons: it’s monthly and therefore more likely to be missed, you overspend more to meet monthly credits than annual ones, and it takes dining spending away from much more valuable cards for earning points on such spending. 3x MP has less than half the value of 4x MR or 3x UR. All this, of course, is the point of the exercise. Marriott can’t have been happy about this change either, because that’s a lot of money Amex diverted away from them. That property would be perfect for maximizing the Hilton FNC haha! Thanks for watching!

    IHG Premium still beats these cards.

      The IHG Premier is definitely valuable and I like the 4th night free benefit, but I don't think it comes very close to matching the value on these 3 high-end hotel Cards. Thank you for watching though!

      @@MattWelterOfficial - That's going to depend on whether you are using a hotel chain for an extended international stay or for a brief domestic trip. The Hilton Aspire is better for the latter and IHG is more useful for the former. Right now the Aspire fits my lifestyle better.
