it's because she often looks awkward while dancing. also it's not her strong suit hence why no one talks about it. like lisa is known more for dancing, jennie for rapping, jisoo for her visuals and vocals, and rosie for vocals.

Rosé actually knew korean since birth but ended up speaking English was she was in preschool, although she is fluent in English more than Korean, she's still learning a bit of Korean as well as Lisa. But her mother tongue is English :)

The choreographer who is responsible for most of blackpinks choreographies is Kyle Hanagami, he also made this one ☺️And as a dancer myself I absolutely love his work
MORE BLACKPINK!!!!!! Also I agree, their choreography was ahead of time and people were too quick to hate on them without knowing anything about styles of dance.
Rosé's strength is her body lines in Dancing it's detailed. Lisa has that insane body control and fluidity. She can also kill any genre. Jisoo is a smooth dancer then Jennie is good at freestyling.

I really love their dance practices because Jisoo gets to wear flat shoes, I know she's the shortest member (5'2) so she often has to wear high heels (and i mean HIGH) when they perform live. She still KILLS the dances live, but when she wears flats i feel she can give 110% and her moves are a bit more powerful.
Just subscribed for the BLACKPINK dance reactions. Rosé is actually the second member to have a solo. The first was Jennie in 2018 and there's a choreography video for her song 'Solo'. I hope you will react to that too.

I've said it many times, Rose' is an incredible dancer. She is like a wild unrestrained beast who has been led to the stage on a unleash and then unchained. No one dances like she does. No one dances like Jisoo. Rose's hair is EVERYWHERE in these dance numbers. And for someone who was not even a dancer at all when she got to YG, to be this impactful on stage,... like who trained this in her. She undoubtedly did the work,.. I don't doubt that. But who trained this kind of talent out of her???
I think the choreographer for ddu ddu is kiel tutin but as far as I know that some kpop companys would send their songs to different choreographers and they would try to combine or modify different choreos coming from different choreographers that would fit the song. So, maybe kiel is the whole choreographer for the whole song or some parts of it. And, from ddu ddu to the previous blackpink song, i think kiel mostly has taken the part of choreographing their songs.

Your reaction and analysis was great! I really appreciated your breakdown and appreciation of their talents as well. I get so tired of hearing how easy their choreo is or that they flat out can’t dance. It’s usually coming from those who can’t dance a lick themselves at all but when other dancers give them props it’s very satisfying. Also many people don’t take into account that they’re singing their hearts at the same time. I’d like to suggest dance practices for Forever Young and Don’t Know What To Do. They’re b sides without mvs but the choreo is pretty dope. Thx bruh!

The best thing I like about YGE is that they never treat their dancers like part timers or contractual employees like other Korean entertainment companies. They have worked with HiTech and Crazy for more than a decade, they always have a special moment at concerts to introduce dancers and YGE understands that HiTech and Crazy dancers are ageing and provided a place for them to build their careers as dancers/choreographers. The founder of YGE is a dancer and the company fostered the culture that pursuing dance is not a phase, that it can be a career. HiTech and Crazy are now trainers and choreographers at X Academy (a dance academy - yge subsidiary).
