I've heard the bonus levels are really difficult, so if you play this ending, good luck.

So, to explain the lore about why Esther said "This isn't right" when checking the calendar. The year for MHP2 is 1952. The year for MHP1 is 2019. After Esther resists Dee, she "time travels" to 2019. In terms of the ending you got, after escaping the orphanage, Esther forgets (somehow) everything that had just happened, including what evil was tied to the Mr. Hopp doll. This is the Bad Ending. The Good / True Ending can be achieved if the player finds all of the 6 hidden medallions hidden throughout the game. It unlocks the hidden ending and a new level.

Dan, you got the bad ending. There are a couple endings but to get the real ending press continue and then access the levels, when you see those little symbols on the chapters you can find them in the levels, find all of them to unlock the secret ending.

Dan, you got the bad ending. There are a couple endings but to get the real ending press continue and then access the levels, when you see those little symbols on the chapters you can find them in the levels, find all of them to unlock the secret ending.
