Very nice informative video. I wire these up often at the Jersey shore. I prefer to hardwire the unit (no plug n cord) because its once less thing that can go wrong. Enjoy the lift!
thanks for your comment! we like the physical disconnect to help mitigate electrolysis and because none of the customers remember to shut off the breakers...but we do hardwire the big ones. thanks for watching!

Programming Transmitters on "NEWER UNITS" - March 2007 to present (Yellow transmitters with three blue buttons and up/down membrane switches) 1. Press the LEARN button once and release. 2. Press the STOP button within 5 seconds of pressing the LEARN button to program the transmitter.
I just got a new one and it won't lower the boat. It only goes up. It worked the first day when the installer was here. Two days later, we went to get our boat out and it won't lower we just hear the hum and the breaker in the house flipped twice. So, instead of taking the kids out on the boat I am trouble shooting here on TH-cam. Any suggestions?
Thanks for sharing this info. I got this same model and both led’s are flashing for auto run and learn clear. The remote nor the receiver work unless I manually overwrite. Any suggestions are welcome.
It sounds like you have a bad limit switch to me....bypass the limit and if the problem still occurs, it might be a radio board...but with the flashing lights I'd start with the limits. good luck
Auxiliary allows turning on a light or something else. Only works with a certain motherboard with aux relay but the cover plate is still put on all gem units. Even though my unit can not run an aux device, it works as an electronic stop switch while using auto up or auto down rather than cutting power.
