A great resource. It would be really helpful if you indicated where each subject/material is in the comments section.

Hey, Wayne, I have a question for you.
    Carbide vs. Diamond blade.
I have a 4" cast iron pipe that is 3/8" thick.
I was told that a diamond blade will work better than a carbide blade. I have also been told that, a carbide blade will work better than a diamond blade. I am only going to make 3 cuts all the way through.
Which blade and manufacturer would you prescribe.
Awesome video, and thanks so much.
    GOD bless.

Thanks for the video. I asked an employee at a "big box store" what exactly bi-metal meant. He said "that means it cuts through metal and wood".....?..
The blade I bought says 14/18 TPI. He also couldn't tell me what the 14 was all about.
Any clarification on these two questions would be appreciated.. Thanks in advance!

+Ryan Gregg Bi-metal meas it will cut mild steel. They will cut wood but supper slow. They will not cut hardened steel like leaf spring or stainless steel. The more tpi or teeth per inch the smother it will cut thick steel. For example 14 TPI would be good for sheep metal or up to 1/8 in steel where as thicker than that 18 TPI would be best.

Well actually Wayne didn't answer what bi metal means and it means that it has two different metal joined together instead being mixture of them like other metal can be flexible but dull fast and other remains sharper longer but is more brittle and when they are joined together as bi metal that blade last longer and cuts better.
