  • In this video we present a before and after of the installation of new premium Abel encore hammers to a 1988 7ft 4 C7 Grand Piano.
    Can you hear the difference?

    Yes, I can hear it... and no sure prefer the ABEL!. Of course, YAMAHA ones give the typical YAMAHA sound, more metallic. But the ABEL are IMO a bit too much on the soft side. Perhaps they need some time to set in. All in all, beautiful piano and playing!

    Every section event juiced up very high then voiced to a congruent master piece of
    Evenness you truley made it sound just right for any type of music.
    music!! (I take of my hat to you mysterious !!!). There are few technicians that can accomplish this feat

    i installed Aben encore in my G2 too.. it sounded mellow and dull after installation, after two months it opened up and is a different animal....

      Can confirm 100%. Have the Abel Naturals (I think that's their Europe name for the Encore) on a 1969/70 G2. Weren't particularly bad to start with, just nowhere near the range they have now...Are you finding that the bigger bass hammers are taking longer to come into their own?
