    Out of Belmar NJ, at 1:37 that boat is the fishhead and I am in the grey shirt with my back turned. Super crazy to cross paths, even crazier to be watching videos and be like "is that me??".. Of of the best days of tuna fishing ever!!

      What jigging/popping rod would you recommend for yellowfins up to 40-50lbs paired with twinpower 6k reel?

      I checked with my friend the tuna expert and he recommends for top water Saltywater tackle - El Maestro 77 or 710, he also suggested looking into Centaur rods from Thropy tackle.

      This isn't on a commercial charter, the boat owner Ray, is a friend who I fish with. Thanks and tight lines!

      +Anonymous the boat belongs to my buddy, and he does not charter. Send me an email and I'll give you the names of other Captains that I know and are hardcore tuna fanatics and have similar boats. Tight lines!

    What rods do you use

    • @SergioDiazFishing
      @SergioDiazFishing  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, the red and white rod is a black hole magic with a VS150. Jigging rods were Shimano Trevala with Saragosa 5000.

      Sergio Diaz and what version of the Trevala do you have and what size/ pound rating

    • @SergioDiazFishing
      @SergioDiazFishing  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      We had Stellas for big stuff but the tuna were smaller that day
