Jeez, Copperpot, did you have enough footage of this one? I still can't believe Stanley Jordan told us they were playing Spoon before the show even started. Possibly the biggest surprise of the tour, ruined by the guest. Crazy.
He came out to say hi to someone he knew on the rail I think and then stayed and talked to a bunch of fans. My friend next to me asked how they determine what he plays on. He said Dave picks it, like they just ran through Spoon in the rehearsal room. My jaw fucking dropped. I quickly told everyone around me not to tell anyone, but it definitely got out anyways.
It didn't help that some meat head was running around the pit with the setlist in hand all show just blurting out the songs. I too saw Spoon on the list ahead of time when he was next to me. I was mad at first but really could care less, made me more excited for it and knew to be back in my chair by the end of Seven :)

I like Jeff roaming around a bit...I'd like to see him and Rashawn and Timmy too do that more.

Overall, I just have not ever been impressed with Stanley Jordan with DMB... I'd personally rather listen to Rashawn or Jeff or Tim solo..
I still miss dmbstream, but these videos make it all alright.
