Legendary Pokemon come in all shapes and sizes, but one thing about them that always stays consistent is that they usually are all a part of various Legendary Pokemon groups. Well, what if those groups got new members? What would they be like? In this video, we are going to continue exploring that question as I create new members for three more Legendary Pokemon groups!

It's crazy that you used the spirit world to add to the weather trio because the Greek Gods are lead by a trio that represent the sky(Zeus), the land/ocean(Poseidon) and the under world (Hades)
I think Phantitan fits better than Shadolor sense Phantitan name fits with the trio and I think save the second name for another one as for the other two Latius fit, very well with the duo and for Nijiro I'm in love with the pokemon I just wish those three were on the series I'm really hoping to see more so thumbs up and keep, up the amanzing work.😉👍

For the gen 5 mon as the trio are fragments of the original dragon then that mon should be its opposite.
Some how about nijowa nij from the Japanese word for rainbow and the owa from the Japanese word for harmony and balance chōwa. And is stronger then the trio as it is a equal to the original dragon.

When it comes to Nijiro, I feel like there's one small thing that can be done to the name that could make it feel more like a fourth member of the Tao trio. Make it "Nijirum" instead. "-rum" from "spectrum", and also to fit in with Reshiram, Zekrom and Kyurem's names all ending with "r_m".

I was gonna suggest "Nijirotrum" so it could fully keep the "iro" part of its name, as well as to give the name a bit more of a "legendary" vibe, but aside from that you took the words right out of my mouth.

I like the fourth member of the weather trio, however, I feel that it would have been better to have a fourth member be based on that of the Biosphere.
Considering that Rayquaza represents the atmosphere
Groudon the lithosphere
And Kyogre the hydrosphere.
Though the Biosphere doesn’t necessarily align itself with weather, neither does this sort of spirituality. That is just an unfortunate downside of the trio already representing the three spheres. While I do love this ghost type, I do feel that a grass-type biosphere inspired Pokémon may have fit better. My personal opinion of course.

I think Latius should be named Latitros because the lati twins last letters are based off Spanish congigation of male and female (los and las) and nosotros means we in Spanish, therefore, latitros.
Coincidentally, "tros" is also very close to "tres", which is the spanish word for the number three, and it fits since it will be the third one.

If you want to make Nijiro’s name sound closer to the Tao trio, I would make a slight change and call it “Nijirum”. It keeps Niji and iro in tact while adding the end of spectrum, as in the color spectrum. All the other legends have a vowel with an m at the end of their names, being am, om, and em. Incorporating spectrum keeps that consistent without repeating a vowel

You picked some of the hardest Legendary groups to add new members to for this episode. Pretty much all of these groups were already well balanced.
Not even well balanced, a new member wouldn't even fit. I mean maybe with the eon duo, but the other two, not at all. The weather trio is basically all about the world so adding a 4th who's area doesn't really fit with the general aspect of the other three isn't exactly good. And with kyurem and the others, they're literally yin and yang. Zekrom being evil, aka black, reshiram being good, aka white, and kyurem being the balance and mediator for them

Personally I like the name Shadolor where not only for me it rolls off the tongue better but that the “lor” part can be a reference to the lore of The Weather Trio which are based on the Behemoth, Leviathan, & Ziz, so maybe it can be based on a mythical creature that relates to them
Coincidentally, dolor means pain in Spanish, which fits the ghostly spirit world theme.
You missed the opportunity to give Phantitan a Primal form, and to give Latius a Mega form, and to give Kyurem a form where he is fused with Nejiro.

One idea I had for Nijiro is that it was as a bi-product of the original dragon splitting apart and was the energy needed for said dragon to truly return. It being unknown to any researcher is its attempt to prevent the full reunification of the Tao trio knowing the danger that said pokemon falling into human hands could cause.
the original dragon separated into reshiram and zekrom and kyurem was the by product of the fusion energy being left over, maybe nijiro could be the opposite to the original dragon
@@Prplxlyou could say that kyurem is the empty husk of the original dragon, almost entirely deprived of life which is why it took the ice type. Nijiro could be the spirit of the original dragon reborn / put into a new body that will come to reunify the dragons. This could serve as an added lore reason for why you can't fuse the 3 dragons, only 2 at a time, because there is a missing piece, that being nijiro

Nijiro is a good design, though in terms of the name while it is a good name it might be better to add either "rim" or "rum" to the end as the other 3 carry something similar in their names. Reshi"ram", Zek"rom", Kyu"rem".
Nijirim, works
I really like nijiro and it could actually still fit into the orgininal dragon lore representing a part of kyurem that wants to find peace with itself. It could also explain why you cant make the original dragon out of just reshiram and zekrom because without nijiro they wont find peace within kyurem. One thing i would change about its artwork however is that i would give it a much larger and exaggerated tail as that is a main feature of the tao trio.
Yeah, I was thinking of a similar idea. It could even be possible that the two brothers had another sibling, perhaps a younger sister, who wanted the two to stop fighting over their conflicting beliefs because of how the fighting was destroying the land they called home. As a result, their feelings and the brothers’ fighting actually split the original dragon in four, and Nijiro, like the third sibling, wanted peace and set to stop the fighting once and for all. They were the ones that showed they didn’t need to fight as there was no right side because they were all the same, and so, peace came at last.
Until the heroes’ sons resumed the fighting which resulted in the destruction of the region. When that happened, the third sibling’s daughter prayed to Nijiro who healed the land with its fairy magic. The daughter then sealed the Tao trio away with Nijiro’s help to keep history from repeating itself, but kept Nijiro around as a fail safe in case anyone tried to misuse them again while keeping it carefully guarded secret. Because only when all four dragons are reunited will the original dragon be restored.
I’ve always called the Weather Trio the “World Dragons”.

The world demons
Nijiro being the leftover memories and true personality of the original dragon, the opposite of kyurem the leftover body would be great. Nijiro's goal is to get his original body back, but in a peacefull way. Which could be done in a sequel game of b2/w2, nijirora travels with you to defeat the evil team. You meet the previous protagonists of the unova games, who have reshiram, zekrom and kyurem. The dragons see nijiro and remember that nijiro is the one that has to be in control of their original self. The protagonists decide that the original dragon can decide who is allowed to train him.
For gen 5 I think making a water legendary based off abyssal ruins.
I really like Nijiro.
It fits really well into the lore without major retcons.
The original dragon was in a place of conflict so peace dragon left. Leaving the remaining 3 unstable.
This would also explain why Kyurem cant fuse with both at the same time. As it cant without the stability brought by Nijiro.
Nijiro can actually work, being that when in Blk 2 whte 2 Kyruem can only transform into one of either form...(even though the other legend isn't around to actually merge into the full one dragon)...you can actually fit Nijiro as the final piece of the puzzle that has hidden itself deep in the region, to not allow the true dragon to appear in the wrong hands, waiting for a peaceful person/trainer to help.
The colour idea of Nijiro is really cool
Like the contrast of the truth and ideal legendaries being about seeing the world in black and white or sometimes grey to meditate
Seeing it more openly with colour and nuance in mind to keep the peace sets it apart while keeping similar themes
I am captivated by the concept of Nijiro, especially as it can serve as the defacto original dragon. I can also see it as the protector of the dream world and to go a bit deeper with it lore wise. The phenomenon that occurs within the dream realm also affects the real world, even though it itself is an illusion and the things that manifest from its domain are as well, but the phenomenon that occurs actually happens. Also, I feel like this idea could be a neat opportunity to connect the dream world and Area Zero to expand on both realms a bit more
I can envision Nijiro having a second form, serving as a counterpart to the Original Dragon. Moreover, this new form could be a recent manifestation, distinct from its past versions. I picture this extraordinary Pokémon inhabiting a cave that has long intrigued enthusiasts, who once believed it held a Legendary. Adding a twist to the tale, adventurers might uncover an entrance inside the cave that leads to an exterior forest, connecting them to the dream world where Nijiro currently resides. This captivating journey may also involve The Swords of Justice, further enhancing the adventure.

I honestly feel like Latius should be a Fusion of Latias and Latios instead of a new Pokémon altogether. Similar to the Kyurem fusions or Necrozma fusions, the two merge and their stats increase. Imagine a Pokémon with the bulk of Latias but still hits as hard as Latios. The BST should be increased to around 680 just to keep things fair
For shadolor, i feel it would work well in the weather sense if it was meant to be a replacement pokemon but not for any of its fellow weather legends but rather SHADOW lugia. Its name already fitting the bill and the fact that there is the shadow type equivalent to hail in Shadow Sky. Maybe an ability that sets it up and makes it act as a shadow pokemon in type but otherwise is still pure ghost. I could see greevil revealing that he discovered shadolor and used it to create the shadow pokemon. Plus the coliseum games are basically pokemon gen 3.5 in my opinion as bonsly was revealed in pokemon XD.

The 4th hoenn legendary could also be a representation of the biosphere (the combination of the atmosphere, lithosphere and hydrosphere, that represents the part of the earth where there's life) or a more abstract concept, like the gravitational field

Love the Latius concept. I would've made it green personally, but using both red and blue was neat as well. And them being any gender rather than genderless was a neat touch.

I think Shadolor fits a bit more with in the Weather Trio name convention then Phantitan and also sounds better when you put it together with others too.
Also, Nijiro is my favorite of the three 'mons of this video. Dragon/Fairy is one of my favorite types!

I think yveltal is described as the destruction pokemon, which is the opposite of xerneas, the life pokemon, but destruction isn't the opposite of order, chaos is the opposite of order
I feel Nijiro could be renamed to Nijirim, as well as represent the concept of heart. And an idea for how to obtain this Pokémon has hit. You could encounter it in the same cave Kyurem was in during Black and White 2, but only if Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem are in your party. The lore could be that it wishes to see that you have tamed the other 3 legendary dragons of Unova.
Remember that the Tao trio is also based off of the concepts on yin, yang, and wuji.

I think the designs were great but it's a missed opportunity for shadolor (the better name and it makes sense cause marshadow is the shadow pokemon and is a ghost type) to have a mega form or something like the other members of his trio. We would also love to get a fused version of kyurem and nejiro like reshiram and zekrom. And the latis have mega forms so giving latius a mega evolution would be sweet.

I was hoping that you would mention that the Weather Trio is based off of the Hebrew monsters Ziz (Rayquaza), Behemoth (Groudon), and Leviathan (Kyogre). Maybe, with its Ghost typing, your fourth member could have been based off of Sheol, which is a location rather than a monster, but being the Hebrew afterlife it could have its own weather
I like how shadolor unintentionally gets dolor in it, making its name mean something like "Lord of the painful shadow"
Phantitan is pretty cool, but I personally would think additional Weather Titans would be based around sandstorm and snow/hail. Nijiro, though, I don’t like it at all. It just doesn’t seem like it fits with the other Tao Trio legendaries in any way.
But for Latius, I’ve actually been thinking about something like that for a while, but here’s my take on it; it’s what happens when a Latios and a Latias die together and somehow fuse into a single Soul Dew. After a while, Latius is born from that resulting Soul Dew. Also, I imagine it as being purple because of this.
The addition to the weather trio should summon fog upon entering battle, that would be a cool way to make it not only mirror Rayquaza but also prevent it from Kyogre/Groudon-adjacent weather (hail and sandstorm)

In the past people spoke of a fourth Pokémon that represents the spirit world some called it Shadolor others called it Phantitan, it’s true name is unknown, but what is know is it’s a legendary Pokémon
I'd rather call the fourth weather member Onimbus. Where it is Ghost/Electric and represents the concept of thunderstorms and is summoned whenever Groudon and Kyogre rampage too long and can only be banished by Rayquaza's ability to calm the weather.
I don't really see the point of the smaller pair of arms on Shadolor/Phantitan. I think it would look better with just the larger pair of arms.

Latius could be a single parent pokemon since it consits of traits from both the Eon duo, or it could fall under the category of being a fusion.
Those are all look cool but I doubt that the weather and tao trio will ever see a new maamber concidring that their main inspration dont exactly live a room for another.
For the fourth member of the black and white trio, you could add a prefix to its name similar to the current trio. This could come across as Nijirim or Nijirum. Or alternatively you could break off even more and call it Nijirohei, adding part of the Japanese word for ‘peace’ (heiwa) to it. This would be pronounce Ni-ji-row-hey

Phantitan/Shadolor one looks like he's the black sheep of the trio giving it a reason for being unknown, also looks like it'd might and try to overthrow Rayquaza as some even leveled rival.
i feel like phantitan would probably try to take credit for what rayquaza does, but then immediately gets put in its place

The fourth member of the Tao trio could be named "Nijirum" not only does it match up with the "Ram, Rom, Rem" ending of the names, "Rum" could also come from the "Rum" in "spectrum" referring to the electromagnetic spectrum, which ties in to the rainbow theme.
NIJIRO Straight up looks like the scraps of that legendary trio given form, shape, and life. That's why I really like this design. It makes sense that pokemon Like this exists. If your torn into 3 different entities. There's bound to be pieces you on the floor?
Phantitan looks pretty solid but it needs to be more detailed imo. Some shading around the shoulders and torso could make it work. Plus I think it needs a little more of the line markings that the other 3 have.
I think Phantitan looks a bit modern comparing to the 3rd gen design style of the weather trio, but the concept is cool. Maybe it's the black plate and horns on the head.
Another concept for the Tao trio could be a colorless dragon too. Not certain what the lore connection a colorless Pokemon would have but I think it would work too
For the Aura Trio, you should make a member that resembles the letter W and a theoretical fourth dimensional axis called the W axis. Each member of the Aura Trio resembles a specific letter and its respective axis (Xerneas is X, Yveltal is Y, and Zygarde is Z).
Another option is O/0 for the point where all three Axis meet
@@DarthMolgyThe fourth member of the Aura Trio will be based on Hafgufa, who inhabits Iceland's waters, hence the Water/Ice pairing. Maybe Walafgufrost (from Hafgufa, the Norse fish, frost, and Squalus, which is Latin for shark)? Also, its color will be purple to represent the W axis, and its name will start with W.
I’d say Phantitan definitely fits better I mean Shadolor does have a nice ring to it, but like you said in the video, Phantitan makes more sense.
Latius is perfect in all ways. 9/10 in design, 9/10 in concept.
I thought for the weather trio, you could treat it like the sectors of warfare, that being, air, sea, ground, space and cyberspace.
Something that makes much more sense as a 4th trio member would arguably be based on snow, if ya ask me

I feel like that the Weather Trio would change to the 'Matter' Quartet, if instead of Land, Sea, and Sky, it's Solid, Liquid, and Gas, with the fourth new one possibly representing Plasma, although it's a bit of a stretch.
The states of matter are kind of represented by the Creation Trio:
Dialga: Dragon/steel (solid), Palkia: Dragon/Water (Liquid) & Giratina: Dragon/Ghost (Gas).
The one thing that wasn't mentioned but is shown thru the design is Phantitan/Shadolor's association with the Greek Alphabet... With Kyogre represented with Alpha, Groudon with Omega and Rayquaza with Delta. And with Phantitan's design show it represented with Upsilon. Nice touch

So the ones we got can be the day versions or whatever, and the new ones can be night versions.
Imo, Nijiro could work as having originally been in a duo with the dragon that once was before it broke apart into Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem, but is now part of the quartet because the other split in three.
For the weather trio, I would’ve chose a griffin, representing buildings.

I think that the fourth member of the weather trio could be based on gravity since it's what keeps all together. The nucleus of the planet contains iron and other metals, and it's also super hot, so a gravity based Pokémon could be steel/fire.
With the weather trio you could have done "natural dissasters" as a 4th legendary concept, the one that angers the other 3 to make tsunami, earthquakes and tornados. Sort of like an evil spirit or weather god that "commands" the other 3.
the shadow part in shadolor fits because it is the shadow of the physical world
the Weather Trio also have weather effects associated with them, like Rayquaza=clear skies, Groudon=sunny, Kyogre=rain. Phantitan/Shadolor gives me Fog effect vibes from Gen 4, since in some depictions of spirit worlds, they tend to be foggy, lending to their ethereal state.
I've got 2 points.
1) Nijirum has be able to fuse with Kyurem otherwise it isn't really a part of the tao trio and is just some random legendary with no relation.
2) Phantitan should be a the greenhouse gas pokémon this allows it to fit right at home with the weather trio but it would be a pokémon created as a byproduct of humans mass manufacturing tons of products.
- The name I've come up with is Cosingular
CO - as in CO2 and Singular - as in Singularity this name is the opposite of Rayquaza's Quasar being the brightest with this pokémon's Singularity being the darkest.
Here's my take on the fourth member of the weather trio. The 3 other members are inspired by hebraic beasts (leviathan, behemoth and ziz) as well as representations of parts of the world. They also cause meteo related effects when entering the field. So, I would make it inspired by another hebraic beast, the re'em, which is a bull like creature, although some translations led to it being called a unicorn. To mimick this, it would be closer to a bull but with one horn bigger than the other. For it's meteo effect, I would base it on fog.
The story would be that the pokemon was once part of a bull pokemon species, but was caught in the raging battle between groudon and kyogre. It fought hard to survive, but was slowly getting killed by the boiling steam created where lava and water met. However, these efforts were noted by arceus and giratina, and they both tried to help the pokemon survive. Arceus gave it a fighring type to enhance his strength and ability to survive. While giratina gave it a ghost type, making it a spirit able to live within the steam. After living for so long within the steam, it got used to it, and is able to produce fog to replicate it. Today, the pokemon would roam the land and sea alike, trying to use the fog to hide the dangers of both from the living creatures so they don't suffer from them. But this causes a lot of disasters which earned the pokemon a bad reputation, causing it to disappear until now.
As for the effect of the fog. When it enters the field, it generates fog, which would have an additional effect. Either the accuracy drop increases each turn the pokemon remails on the field. Or, as long as fog is active, stats changes are reversed. This being a result of the dighting spirit of the pokemon that would allow it to get strolger despite using powerful moves constantly as this would be required to survive. So, something like close combat would increase stats instead of reducing them. But, it would also work for the opponent's pokemon, meaning the ability could turn against you
I think that the weather trio could be based off of the geosphere(groudon) the hydrosphere(kyogre) and atmosphere(rayquaza) so I think it would make sense if a a forth legendary would be based on the biosphere.
for nijiro i feel like it plays well into all of the tao trios aspects except the yin and yang aspect. as theres yin yang and the abscence of them. also i thin giving it a tail that more resembles the tao trios would be cool

As someone who's actually thought about creating a fourth member to the tao trio, I think we can we do waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better, like the one you showcased looks closer to a mega reshiram then anything else.
My headcannon is that Shadolor is inspired by the spanish Conquistadores (dolor means pain in español), presenting himself as the arch-enemy of Rayquaza
Nijiro, could also represent people's other motives and personality traits

Latius dex entry- Said to be the parent of the eon duo. When a latias and a latios lf different family groups have offspring, they unify not only in making offspring but also in down, emphasizing thier unification.
Phantitan just sounds so smooth
I thought Xiboncho would be a good name for the weather trio addition. Etymology comes from Xibalba ie the aztec spirit world/god and from the phrase of head honcho to fight the leader motif.
I think the fourth weather trio could have been Ice/Ghost. Ice being an extension of water takes over land, can cover the ocean "as hard as rock", and can alter air currents so it acts as a opposing force for both Kyogre, Groudon, and Rayquaza. The ghost type could be in reference to the death and destruction of the pokemon world as a result of kyogre and groudon's battles; the angry spirits of the dead pokemon coming together to enact revenge.
For the weather trio, an ice one works, for North and south pole, ice age, snowed areas around the world. Kyurem doesn't count because it's like a cold dead incompleted cocoon body that came yo life.

It has long body and it's associated with rainbows just like the serpent.
I love the concept of Latius, but the thing with the Eon duo is that their color schemes reference each other. Latias+Latios color scheme make their mega forms color scheme and their shinies form mix together to make the shiny mega color scheme. (Sorry if that was a mouthful)

I like the idea of the underworld but you could also have made it ice type and giving it an ability that causes hail
I kinda like Phantitan better simply because of the phrase "careful not to wake the sleeping Titan" or however it goes, basically another purpose for Rayquaza stopping Groudon and Kyogre, they're fighting could cause a rift to form bringing the greater threat of this new Pokemon from the Spirit World or UnderWorld
I want another direction for the Tao trio, and that is to double down on the neutral colors, and that is a brown, ground dragon type. And as opposed to a referencing of ideals or truth of the original dragon, or a husk of its former self, this one is all about the tao trio and their effect on the land of unova. Due to this I use the Japanese word for brown and for empathy (as it's all about not one's outlook but rather one's affect on the world around them) for the name Kashkyorum. I think it should have an ability like synchronize, as it's essentially forcing zekrom, kyurem, and reshiram, to experience the effects (burn, paralyze, freeze) that they inflict on others
