This line has so much meaning now that it was before. Even in their after-lives, they gave their all for humanity. Farewell to the true heroes of humanity and let the future generations carry their legacy.

This is now my favorite arc in the game - not only that it’s one of my favorite stories in ANY game. What a masterfully created and written story. I’m so sad to see them all go but I am so glad I got to experience it.

Really love this sentence of Kalpas. It tells the struggles of those survive from wars but still haunted by losses that stem from it. If wars are meaningless then what was the deaths for?
It's just like the PTSD reports of American Snipers in Afghan. Till now, they are still haunted by the faces they killed.

On August 7th it will be one year since this trailer was released. A year filled with mysteries, with learning, with the story of the Thirteen. This hits so much harder after Chapter 31 Act 1. I hope everyone who plays the game, and gets to know Thirteen will experience this story to its full glory, because, damn, it is indeed beautiful alas it's hard to grasp everything with the way ER works and you need to read files, but it's really cool and I hope you all enjoy it.

You’re for sure right on it hitting hard, it was an amazing story and will stick with me forever. It’s very rare for me to get as attached to every single person as I am for the flame chasers, in these groups of heroes. The honkai devs did them justice.

I like how mihoyo created 3 storylines where each of them discusses a different timeline, one about the past (elysian realm), the present (main story), and the future (APHO)
As a player who never knows about the Honkai lore, this realm is gonna confuse the hell outta me in the next update. It will be like playing this game for the first time.
Remember when we saw kevin and meme sakura in see of quanta when bronya was trying to rescue seele? That bubble universe was the recreation of the past, and this story we're gonna here of takes place before even that

Ah, back to the times Elysia’s signet never had a name, and it was just two blocks.
So many subtle hints in this trailer. The opening bgm implies dark events from a dark past, then picks up and slows down appropriately to match each character's theme, and at the very end it becomes clear it's all about Elysia - bgm hits with force when her name appears, but while everyone has their name displayed on a blue background, Elysia's becomes red, indicating there was big change and it wasn't pleasant. Not to mention her description being blank, as opposed to all other Flame Chasers, adding to the mystery.
It's actually awesome that there's so much foreshadowing from the moment of the character's debut but it's also completely vague.
So she's talking to Mei here? Man i feel like Mei is gonna play a *way* more important role in the story than just a best friend/potential love interest for Kiana to "bring back".
if you played the story/event released right now, you'd get an idea as to why
She serves as an avenue for us to explore the inner workings of WS, as well as the mystery of the MANTIS, MOTHs and the PE, because Bronya has served that purpose with AE, and out of the remaining casts, Mei was the prime candidate for us to delve into WS, given her desperate situation (i.e. her joining primarily because of she was desperate to save Kiana). More passive role than active imo but it's still important. Ultimately though, like with Himeko, Fu Hua and the others, they all serve one purpose: to advance Kiana's growth as a person and as a Valkyrie, with some challenging her ideals, some challenging her power/ability to save the world, and some reinforcing her resolve to fight for all that's beautiful in the world. The game is, after all, the saga of Kiana Kaslana.

Quick summary of their characters:
Eden: she is really a nice and generous person
Elysia: she loves everyone, narcissitic, good at words and talks with people in flirty way. Despite the hardships she went through, she is still able to mantain her smile, so she definitely is not cold
Su: best boi, character with the greatest moral out of all the characters in HI, so far
Mobius: uhmm, Mobius I would say is a mad scientist, while she loves to do questionable experiments she never coerce people for it
Kalpas: He is well wild and enthusiast(?), while being an introvert and edgy, if you notice he sometimes is quite sweet

I think Elysa is 「Future」since future is Gold, can not be known ( Enlightened ), can killing in a large scale, happening instantly, can change and have upward and downward, is Infinite. Can be the Judgement over humanity...

For everyone here yet who doesn't know who they are they are Mantis.
They are fusion warriors or called "MANTiS" They are not ordinary people they can kill Herrscher very easily with their respective powers, but currently there are only thirteen MANTIS left after the 11th Herrscher tragedy Herrscher Anti-honkai that can weaken all honkai energy, there were many fusion warriors died after the 11th Herrscher tragedy and after that tragedy 13 heroes or 13 mantis were founded, led by two leaders 'Kevin and Elysia' So this Mantis was led by two leader Kevin and Elysia.
one more thing Elysia has ears like a fairy because this fusion warrior experiment is "the price she has to pay to be MANTIS" like Kevin who has an extreme cold body temperature and Sakura who has ears like a fox and Mobius eyes like a snake, But ears elysia can be normal again like human? Yes can but i don't know how.

I never thought they would add the mantis story, I already want to play it to discover more about its story
Yeah, I was expecting it to be like the "cool backstory never told" that a bunch of games have. Still guessing it'll stay bits and pieces like what we got in Hua's chapters and (unreliably) in the Sea of Quanta chapters, but I'm looking forward to it anyway.
Her tone voice just literally different from the CN version. The CN is more naughty and seductive while JP is 100% mysterious
Edit: This is just my personal feeling but why 8 first? Because with the number of 13 they will normally try to split them in half but this is 8/5. Who are those 5 and why they are so special?
