2020 is my favorite of these, but that main melody/riff is present in every single song. They’re all pretty cool in their own way, so it’s always fun to hear which year each person prefers :)

I really think you should react to the first ever Worlds Orchestral Theme! (From 2012 or 2013 I think). Every year they've been rearranging it, so I think watching the first one would give a lot of insight. Also, it's a banger. Back in 2012, it was a novelty. A videogame with it's own worldwide championship? An absolute beautiful music made for the pro players? It was absolutely crazy, and you would hear that theme every time you would login, and everybody loved it.
Hiroyuki Sawano (The person who composed Attack On Titan OST) did a song for League of Legends called 'Light and Shadow'. I think that would be a fun reaction
So each year for Worlds, Riot composes two themes. One is just called the Worlds Anthem (eg this year for 2023 it is GODS ft. NewJeans) This theme is a completely different song each year and is written and performed in collaboration with an artist with lyrics etc. This theme also normally gets performed live by the artist at the Worlds Opening Ceremony too. In addition, they also do an 'Orchestral Theme' each year, which is an entirely instrumental theme. The main melody of the orchestral theme is the same, going back to 2016 so each year is essentially a cover of that theme. Some years it's fully orchestral, others its more electronic. 2023's Orchestral Theme seems a bit of blend of both. This orchestral theme often gets used as a backing track to tournament highlights or hype reels, or snippets of it used for intro and outros to the broadcast segments. Yes every year they remake it for worlds, but I guess its more of a remix. So this year they decided to go a bick backwards by going to the orchestral origins with the mix of that digital sounds.

they have lots of great songs - Gods ft. New Jeans just came out a week ago for this year's worlds, Fire to the Fuse ft. Jackson Wang is another good one as well as Light and Shadow by the legend Hiroyuki Sawano
the 2018 and 2019 orchestral themes are more traditional to what you're thinking of when you hear orchestra.

i suggest checking out ADO’s newest song “Kura Kura”, it is the season 3 opening for the popular anime “Spy X Family” (the first episode of which pretty much JUST aired)
in any case the song itself is modulation hell. ADO’s voice is very elastic, but since I know you prefer the lower layers, theres PLENTY down there as well :)

This needs 2 Infos for context:
Before a League game there is a "champ select". Players pick and ban champs, this takes around 5 minutes and is very dry mental chess so they put music underneath it. This song is composed to run on a loop in the background to build a tension slowly before game and warm up the audience.
Second info, like you guessed, composed new every year for worlds. But the main string melody is kept the same or similar, to the point that your brain is trained like Pavlov dogs to instantly go to "champ select". They write a complete new song, but that main string melody stays and if you are watching worlds, it stays in the brain.
My recommendation for league next yone theme and pentakill lost chapter i think.
