He often performs a lot more enthusiastically. and the other two that caught your eyes Heachan and Mark are known as all-rounder idols which means the are good at singing but also performing and are in mulltiple groups(units of nct)
I think one of the biggest reason why you feel both Haechan and Mark really stand out for you is that they are in NCT 127 too, so they had a lot more experience with stage presence! Also since this was Dream's first comeback with a more intense image I feel Jisung (who you tought was very relaxed) was trying to adjust to this new image. But if you ever have the time, you should check out the lemonade challenge he did back in 2017. His energy is really different! Glad you really enjoy all these groups!
Yes! Every Haechan bias in the comments, giddy that you're recognizing his talent. He has a level of awareness, balance and body control that reminds me of Taemin. Like the ground work at the beginning of the song, he manages the weight transitions and momentum switch so fluidly that it looks *easy*. Or 13:10 - while everyone else is constantly adjusting footing and body position to compensate (on a very tricky combo) he's back there just perfectly balanced, able to isolate each movement completely. Taemin has eight *years* more experience (2008 vs 2016 debut), and he's been able to explore more as a solo artist but damn... I can't wait to see how Haechan grows.

Okay so hear me out: NCT 2018 Black On Black. I don't know exactly what you think about recommendations or if you even read this BUT Black On Black is a choreo-based NCT song with ALL the members (18 at that time to be exact). I'm just so curious what you have to say about this choreo. Also there is a live performance where they do this on a slippery stage (because of rain) and it shows even though it's dangerous and they fall, that they still nail this performance.

He is actually crazy good but I think maybe that is part of the problem? 🤔 When he 'performs' his technique and stage presence stand out......like REALLY stand out. I'm still not sure if he has mastered how to dial it back. On top of that he picks up choreo ridiculously fast so there is like zero challenge and little benefit to repetition. I suspect he always just ends up going through the motions during practice.
if you're interested in checking out more nct dream, definitely watch some of their earlier performances we young (criminally underrated and has a dance practice) + my first and last (no official dance practice video, unfortunately) have really cool floorwork and formations, while chewing gum has a hoverboard choreo (more or less stable camerawork)
We have the same comment about Jisung. I'm not sure if it's his style but sometimes his lax dancing looks like he's trying hard to look cool and he becomes less captivating than the others as it feels that he's taking it easy instead of doing his best. And yes I'm saying this despite being an nctzen
a nct dream choreo that i think is HELLA underrated is “We Young” because they have a small section of threading in the second verse which i havent really noticed in any other kpop choreo :)
Personal opinion but to me dream always has the hardest choreos, at least they're the ones i feel most intimidated to learn xD aside from We Go Up because its more info to retain my go to rec is My First and Last, the shapes and floorwork are ooof so creative, fun and groovy, and it flows amazingly easy considering how many head to toe full body moves required
fun fact that time nct dream youngest member are 16 years old and the oldest are 19 and the one u notice is jisung he is 16 years old that time,and the oldest you notice too are Mark (oldest) and haechan and none of them having any dancing experience bcs they've been trainee since they was a kid especially jisung he already being trainee since he was only 12 and debuted at 14

14:17 is Haechan! He's personally my favorite dancer in NCT, very distinct style to me and he has really great facial expressions on stage

If you take suggestions, I would really suggest nct u's seventh sense. It's famous for it's choreography. Difficult and kind of unconventional.
