Hey, everyone! A couple weeks ago I went on an an epic off-road adventure at the Off Road Games hosted by Matt's Off Road Recovery! I learned how to rock crawl, met some amazing people and explored Hurricane, Utah! It was a lot of fun and something I'm looking forward to doing more of in the future!

This week was a lot of fun! I can't wait to do some more rock crawling in the future.

We're heading out your way in a couple of weeks from flatland (Illinois near St Louis). We're planning on driving through Death Valley, up through Mammoth to Yosemite. I "think" you're pretty much on the route so maybe we'll stop in and see you. We'll probably go through Moab and Hurricane on the way out as well. I stopped in at Matt's last year and bought a T-shirt, maybe I can get a Cerro Gordo T-shirt this year. :)
Was an awesome weekend! Glad you came out to wheel with us! We will definitely be heading down to check out your Ghost town Cerro Gordo!
Brent, I bet you 4 years ago that you would have never in your wildest dreams thought that you would have been able to do the things that you have been able to do. Good to see you out on another fun adventure in the wild west! Great to see that you're getting more skills that will benefit you in your future living up in Cero Gordo!
Been a fan of Ghost Town Living since you put out your first video, and been a fan of Matt’s Off-road Recovery since 2021. This was the crossover event I didn’t know I needed
I hope we will se an episode where Matt and crew brings Ed to Cerro Gordo!
And yes, you should definitely build/buy a rock crawler!

One of my bucket list items to to go to Cerro Gordo with my metal detector and help in a search once in a while. Plus a mine tour would be most excellent.

That reminded me of the 12 hour bike race in Alice Springs.. great camping weekend, arm wrestling, darts heaps to do , heaps prizes.. booze , BBQ.. what a great experience for you Brent

Use to do that as a kid. In Ohio Pennsylvania and Kentucky. Took my grands doing that here in Arizona. It was so much fun.
I saw this youtube video of this awesome roller coaster in Saudi Arabia. They built it on the side of a mountain just like what you have. Just the thing for Cerro Gordo.

Loved this video and your plugs for your awesome book! My husband and I use to go on insane 4WD roads back home in Hawaii. It use to freaked me out, but he was always great at it. This brought up some great memories. Then you come to LV! Wow! I work at the MGM. Would have been great to see you!
And I love Marta Beckett! Met her before she passed. What a neat lady! Her motel and opera house is so cool. The tromp l’oeil painting is amazing, all done by her. I love her story, such an amazing lady. And, just like you Brent and your town, she brought that run down place back to life. You are doing the same for Cerro Gordo. 👏 I hope to make it up to your historic town someday.

For a Florida guy, you've got rock climbing skills! The video not only had awesome off road content but the scenery was as well throughout. I hope you let us know who found your book at the Opera house. I'm just anxious to know what message you wrote in it! If I had a guess, it would be a free night at the hotel? Rock crawling the red rocks of southern Utah at 2 mph is as exciting as racing on the track. Glad you got to do it.

Love it ! I love driving off road tracks. I have a 2021 Chevy Colorado with modified suspension and slight lift. I finally was able to drive up your road a few weeks back and felt I "earned" the purchase of your book. Buying on Amazon just didn't feel quite right. I've been enjoying it very much ! I'm a member of Overland Bound and they have helped me with my off road skills and gives me the confidence to venture more !

From reading your book which I am about 1/2 way through, sounds like you could use a rock crawler on your main road some times of the year. Loving the book. I think You & Cody from White Dog Overlanding should get together he is also a history buff and loves all things mining.
See Brent!! If you had a vehicle like this….you could have gotten up and down your road at Cerro Gordo after the flood!! Ya, it would have taken something different than what you have presently……but what fun!!
