Hey Peter! I've played with one of the prototypes on an Yishama with bottom notes for a few months, and nothing has changed on them. Since the contact pieces are fairly small, it's very easy to find a position where no bottom notes will touch them, even on instruments such as Kabe's Pygmy or Romanian Hijaz, which are packed with notes all around :)
Hey Siemore, the Stand indeed works really well with bottom notes, and we have been able to find positions in which a player would be able to play all bottom notes on pans with up to 8 bottom notes as well :)
