The triangles purpuse does not have to do with the binding, but to align properly the different layers of leather and fabric. Thats why you can find those triangles at the corners and in the middle of the piece. The cutting dies make those indentations so you can align everything without measuring.
Hi! I have a synchronized or vibrating cylinder arm machine with a raw edge binding attachment 20mm from Zamir sew. When I see the binding (chrome tanned pebbles leather..about .6-.8 mm) onto the same leather....the binding stretches. What could be the problem?
Some leathers are too stretchy or soft for binding purposes. You have to find leather that works well for the type of project you are doing and your equipment. I like leather that has a little give but not too much stretch for binding. Also you have to control thickness very accurately for binding. The appropriate thickness will depend upon your binder and the thickness and density of the leather you are binding on to. Binding is extremely difficult to get right and consistent. Try different leathers.
chknpicker ok I will keep playing around with it. The finished product looks good with the pebbled chrome leather but I know it’s stretching. I want it to be perfect though without it making the main piece look wonky. Thanks!
@@jaiv2001 running that leather tape through a right angle binder will subject it to too much friction, so perhaps you could spray some teflon on the binder to minimize friction. but i had even better results with an inline binder. if you set it up right you can have a nice consistent stitch line right up against the trim edge; can do round corners just fine, here's a quick video on my instagram instagram.com/p/CFpMiv3Ftek/
@@jaiv2001 i made that folder myself, and i think i could run it with my cylinder arm compound feed binder as well. it will just require a different attachment bracket to make it work with the cylinder arm machine
That looks amazing. And here I am with freaking stitching chisels 😫
Beautiful work. I need that attachment right now lol
It's called folder and available in online stores
Amazing work! Love your products.
عمل جميل ورائع ، ليتني أحصل على ماكينة خياطة الجلد مثل هذه
hi there where can i find binding attachment ? thanks
Did you guys have somebody custom make that binder?
This was nice!
may i know why there is small triangle cut at the curve? is it just for marking or for binding to be perfect curve?

Where would one be able to find that attachment for the sewing machine??
Does anyone know what machine he is using? Thank you.
Really nice
Does this piece come with the machine or is it given on request 🙏😊
And at the end?
Wow perfect
Where did you buy a edge binder ?

@@hrrundel ok thanks! I didn’t know they made in line binders that would work on my cylinder arm. I will try to find one.
