Many oil cleansers actually emulsify with water so swiping them away with a cloth makes it feel like they aren’t working as well as they would with water
@@igballehasani9910 yes I’m aware. I even have the kose softymo oil cleanser and it emulsifies with water and takes every bit of makeup and sunscreen off that way.
I really enjoy this as a regular cleanser, so a second-step cleanser. It’s not a pre-cleanse oil for removing makeup, and it definitely needs water to work properly. But it’s very gentle and leaves my skin well cleansed, but still hydrated.
I love it! It’s the only thing that removes my make up so well. I just hate the taste. It always ends up getting in my mouth. Especially in the shower. I’ve never even noticed that with another face cleanser. But I will tolerate it because it love the product so much.
This product did not agree with my dry winter skin. Felt tight and drying. I went back to an old favorite, DHC deep cleansing oil and my skin is happy again.
I’ve been using since summer ended and the change of season made my face really dry. I’m loving it but I often have switch off to an acne wash when I get breakouts. It’s fun being a dry skin girlie who also has acne at the same time 😢
I feel this on a spiritual level 😭 I have a routine and I use my acne wash in the evenings every Wednesday ( and Saturdays if I feel it’s needed ) to keep my breakouts limited. I need the break because of my dry skin too😣
I love this so much. I have oily skin and this doesn’t make my skin more oily like some “hydrating” cleansers do. The price for the size is really good too!
Thank you for all the recent CeraVe content… I’m on the fence about switching to their products bc I know they’re quality, but their packaging is so boring that it makes me not interested at all lol. This is what I need to see!😁
i used this, caused overhydration on my skin. started using head and shoulders- never going back! zinc is so good, i follow up w aquaphor bc it can be mildly drying
@@Mckee4055really?.. and they market it for dry to extremely dry skin. So glad I didn’t just purchase it.. because my skin is incredibly dry, and it looked good. Thanks for the heads up
The way she’s using it would be the first step, and then you would follow with a water based cleanser. But this product isn’t meant to be a first cleanse, I think it’s intended to be a second cleanse but seeing how it works when she does this, I think it could be the first and second step 😅 if that’s makes sense. So use it dry to remove makeup and spf as first step , and then use it with water as a second step.
I don’t like it, the texture is weird, it doesn’t take the make up completely as other oil cleansers and it leaves my face dry when is supposed to be hydrating!
I was soooo dissapointed by this stuff. 18 dollars at ulta. The texture is soo thin and it doesn’t cling to your skin. It wasn’t terrible but for what you expect from Cereve and an oil based cleaner it didn’t take all of mt waterproof mascara. It’s good as a normal cleanser but I’ll stick to my standards for makeup removal. Won’t be rebuying. For the price there are better, cheaper options in my Opinion.

This isnt an actual oil cleanser, its a water based cleanser with oils in it

What does that mean emulsify ? Lol thank you. 😊.
I have mature oily skin. So trying to find out if this would still be good for me :))

I don’t think I’ve ever in my life washed my face with my hair down in front HOWWW
And she didn't end up with all of her hair drenched! The only reasonable explanation is witchcraft
😂😂😂 i thought the same....

You’re going IN on this cleanser ! This is the only way to review products! Thanks Abbey 😁

I've been using this for a few months now and am really impressed!! This price is also right for the amount you get.
This is literally my fave especially in winter
I love that cleansing oil!!!!!!! Its so effective and the skin is not killed from the cleansing actions ❤
Thank you for how detailed this is!
It’s my all time favorite and no residue
I have dehydrated skin and this is the best for me so far. Love it ❤

You would hate prescription packaging like Retin-A, so ugly but such a good product 😅
Will this take away those little black blemishes (not black heads) on nose area? I remember seeing that an oil based cleanser takes them out
I use this every night and it’s so good
Yay! I just saw this in the store and was wondering if it was worth trying. 🧡

I love this cleanser! It works and doesn’t strip…
Dang doctor, you are strikingly beautiful as well as my fave content creator. Question… which eyeliner are you wearing?
Is this a repost? I remember she reviewed it monthssss ago
We’ve had it in Australia for years 😊
Already on my second bottle of it.
Is this ok for oily skin ? Mature oily skin lol
does it clog pores
Was her face wet before she applied the cleanser
Oooh I need this? Or anyone has other recommendations of cleansers that won’t dry the skin?
I enjoy this one when my skin is feeling dry. I also love the Prequel Glenser
Sadly I have found this a bit drying for my normal/dry skin. I have had success with the Cetaphil cream-to-foam.

It would of been nice to know if you liked it?
Would this be a first step of double cleansing or would this be it?

You can use it as an all in one double cleanse! That’s what she’s saying here
Would've loved this if it didn't burn my eyes!
Me too!!
Abby eyes were super red after. I was surprised how red her eyes got after using it.
I don't think its actually meant to be used like a regular cleansing oil. It's more like a second cleanse
Not bad at all! Not that I'd get that here, bir still interesting xD
Why do I hate the word squalene so much 😀😀😀
I feel like it needed emulsified with water? 🤷♀️
Aren't you supposed to use that on damp skin?
New!? I tried that one a long time ago. I guess it's only new in america. I used it as the second cleanser in double cleanse.
I don’t like it, the texture is weird, it doesn’t take the make up completely as other oil cleansers and it leaves my face dry when is supposed to be hydrating!
Why this towel rub instead of emulsifying? This is just half review🤷🏻♀️.

Omg but the redness around your eye, you must have had to rub it in hard!! LOL no thank you
She’s not using water, which is part of the problem. It wouldn’t do this if she had used water, like it’s made for
Ohhh thanks for clarifying!! @@PiXie232
Hm my mascara refuses to come off with this one personally
I use this on my body and not my face.
Looks like a dupe for Hado Labo.
You look the same with and without makeup
Second!!
Mascara is my least favorite thing to take off!
I hated this🤣😅 (I mean the cleanser)
Why?? I was thinking on getting it 🤔
Didn’t like at all.
All around your eye doesn't look so happy.
I looooved this cleanser, then I realized it was irritating the crud out of my eyes!! So sad.
New.. 😂 I've had this for almost two years..
New in America
