This video is the one that convinced me to spend the $$$$ on the 4-link system that was so simple and easy to install. BUT, after weeks of issues, James Duff inc. is not standing behind its product. The manufacturing from them is quite literally terrible (pics available - reply to this post). The axle truss I received was 8 degrees off , from their prescribed pinion angle range. How do you solve this? cut it apart and re-weld it. The truss on the back of the differential is not parallel to the upper arm tabs on top. the rub? Yes it does... literally only the one point on the axle truss rubs on my gas tank. Can fix it? sure, with more grinding and welding, of course. But why spend your money on a product that is supposed to be ready out of the package , and so is poorly made you've got to grind it apart to fix it? I wish I didn't. On the bright side the finish / Powdercoat was beautiful when it arrived. too bad all of that got destroyed fixing all the manufacturing issues!! AND after weeks of trying to work this out with Duff, they are too busy now, and not standing behind their product. Help yourself - buy a kit that you can weld together so you haven't wasted your money on finish that you had to grind off and repaint anyway. Not to mention it will save you time too. You won't have to grind finish welds ... only tacks! and I do know that 2 broncos are the same. But I can also put 2 straight edges on a truss and see that I can make better with less in my own garage.
I love the 1966 to about '76 Bronco's. The main reason that those fords cant climb is that pre-independent radius arm suspension that allows very little flex, especially once poly bushings are installed. Same with 2008 era f250's.
Men spend big money and get nothing in return all of the time so a car is something that you know that you will have something nice after you have spent a lot of money.
I understand placating sponsors, but damn, nearly 8 minutes at the beginning of the show just standing around jabber-jawing with the reason we can't afford old cars any more.
I had a 74. Rust is an issue. Older Broncos had less rust. The later vehicles used cheap steel. They rusted from the inside out. You can buy everything including a frame. So why not start with good new steel and build as a kit? I cursed my 74, but miss it. 🙁
These shocks can be ran shaft up or down but it is wise to run them shaft down with boots to prevent any dirt and grime building up around the shaft wiper seal and causing it to fail prematurely. Another great reason to run the shafts down is for tire clearance on a Bronco when it is turning while articulating. Bronco’s have a very tight turning radius and you don’t want the bigger tires rubbing the shocks.
Great video! That suspension specialist you brought in looks like a real fart smeller 😆 Seriously though, these people in the comments...entertaining to say the least.

Is this really a restored mod or a kit Bronco . That should have a new vin number . Not a vin tag from a old Bronco . Vin tags are not to be removed from a motor vehicle . It appears that the old frame was tossed . So the frame number to original Bronco is gone as well .

This build will still have an original title and the vin tag will transfer over. Literally no one who can buy this Bronco will care if it’s all original and this build will fetch well over $500k at the auction for being a charity build. Crazy times we live in but for the last 5-6 years, this is the way.
Man love the idea of a brand new 1974 bronco 👍
A body should never be discontinued, it's the look that doesn't wear out.
Can we just acknowledge that this is a kit car and not an original Bronco?
Exactly... that's just a parts catalog car...
Does it matter

The frame was tossed and frame numbers can not be transferred as well .
This is such a American project, just build a new bronco the year you want. That's cool.

92 inch wheelbase and 800 horsepower. Sounds like a recipe for squirrelly.

Yeah it’s Caribbean tur - COOL!!!! ....it’s uh Caribbean turquoise... lmao
A fold down windshield is pretty cool.
Exelente trabajo felicitaciones
Hopefully this rear suspension is better designed than the suburban suspension!
Easily over 100K, I'd reckon TBH!
Cool project. That front suspension is completely bizarre.

It’s a kit car. Not sure what they expect. Though it is nice. But it’s a kit car.
Technically it is but legally it will be a Ford Bronco. The vin will transfer over with no issue. Also, no buyer will ever care if it’s original.
How did you get this truck titledM
I didn't think 4 links had radius arms? Can someone explain, a bit of a newbie!!!!

why use a 302 when a 351 Windsor weighs less and you can get more out of it and no fabrication needed
