We all have our opinions. For those shooting him down, let’s not forget Salah was doing well in Roma but wasnt lighting it up. Robertson was in relegated hull. Many more examples out there. Some players need a team to push them to the next level. We don’t always have to expect the finished product.
Bro salah at roma had 34 G/A in his last roma season, he has 40 G/A in his last 5 seasons in la liga. He's good but he ain't no salah replacement. Maybe rotation sure but not a replacement. Only way he replaces salah is if darwin is our main forward and gets 30 plus goals a season and we sell salah.

Kubo better, he has better vision than Niko. Also, he can play in various positions like cmf, st, wing. His finishing is wayyyy better than Niko.
I am afraid many such players look easy on the eye but got no end product to their game, I hope it's wrong in case of Kubo but his goal return is not good. it reminds me of Yannick Bolasie and Adama Traore who were tricky had pace but no end product.

For 60mil i’m not sure man. This is what Harvey Elliot is if he has more pace. Rather spend 60mil on winger with better pace, can shoot, stronger and better finisher. Minteh was that guy but Brighton just took him. Won’t be surprised if we spend 60 mil on him next season.

@@akjunior1_ Salah at the same age was already a great athlete. He can become stronger but there is a trade off when you add muscle. More weight means more fatigue. Salah is also naturally an elite athlete.
