5:25 i'm looking forward to it. I think bigger F value means better colour uniformity and narrow F value is brighter but decrease the image quality .
I had optoma uhd35 with 1.98 lens sharpness was quite good but it was narrow lens .I know why you think what you think you are thinking as camera lens it is somewhat true but also projectors are using narrow angle lenses you can think of like 35mm / 50mm lenses best for portrait lower F value is better is better and we dont have depth problem like photo because we are focusing on flat wall or screen😊

What about px747 and 748 4k ? Is it good these days ? For 500€ (I am in Europe )

Look for the specs carefuly because there are differences Brightness / Throw Ratio / Zoom is Different
748 is focused on gaming with Full HD 4.2 ms so it is up to you if you are casual gamer with console racing and fifa style no problem but if you play FPS - 748 is your solution
But Throw ratio and zoom effects screen size. You have to decide your size and distance and use scenario !

Actually I have great HD projector but I am changing for the 4K (better res and cheaper, cheaper than the HD because these are older non smart projectors)
But I don't know if it would be better to wait for second hand X1-4K or X2.
I am using projector as my only tv so cinematics and gaming (PS5)...

1. What type of ALR screen would you recommend for those low ANSI lumens led projectors?
2. Is white ALR material effective in any way?
