I really like FIR and ETF is okay. Ronnie had developed musically over the years, true. But Dying is your latest fashion is ONE of the best albums i've ever heard. I didn't come here to whine I came here to listen to the demo of my favorite etf song. So yeah I like really fir but it's not 8x better than etf with ronnie(at least for now).
ETF is one of the most influential bands from this era. Tbh it ain’t even a matter of opinion, they’re one of the greatest bands if not the undisputed goat from this era/genre and I can’t even think of a close second.

the difference is that the one on the album is the producers cut, making the song a bit more commercial, and recording it with a million times better equipment and thats why it sounds a lot better. in this version you can hear escape the fate without any producers touch, its pure material, and it rocks lol...
I wish when they came out with Dying is Your Latest Fashion they would have just re-recorded this version with all the fancy equipment. I think the entire song sounds so much better. The album version is still good, but is so heavily produced
