I used to listen to our radio plays from New York and Hollywood as a kid in the ‘50’s and I loved them! When computers came along, I discovered YT pretty quickly and rediscovered contemporary radio plays from the BBC. I’m subscribing. Thanks so much. I’m thrilled to find your channel :)🌷🌱
Thank you so much for posting this play. 🌷🌱 I saw the Hitchcock film ages ago with Gregory Peck and Ingrid Bergman and I remembered she was involved with patients. I forgot the rest though. Not going to say anything else. My goodness, I didn’t know the doctor was Benedict Cumberbatch. The voice was not as low as I have heard him speak before. So I listened to some of this again. The speech pattern and intonation certainly sound like him, but I would have never guessed. I know he is an incredible actor. I was in love with Robert myself. He was so good. But everyone was very good in this radio play, I just don’t know who they are. I know many British actors, but not like a native would :) 🌷🌱 (New York)
