    Hello .. What sealant do you recommend to make the paintings last longer in the lures?

    • @lureblanks
      @lureblanks  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! if you want your lures to really hold for long time then epoxy resin , or uv resin is the best option. If you will apply a few coats of that it will protect the paint for a long time 👍😀 also make sure that your paint addheres well to the lure. You can do this by sanding the lure a little before painting. And using 4030 or 4050 when using createx paints. This will make everything stick to the lure and make then last longer 👍😀

    Can u recommend a particular paint company to buy paints from for air brushing soft plastic swim baits? There is a lot of controversy over using true water based paints vs acrylic paints, due to the acrylic paints cracking after being sealed with Clearasol . So people say lure works but others claim wicked paints. Thanks for your time

      Lure works or Bright baits soft plastic paint, those are good choices, acrylics as you said tend to crack and not addhere well on softplastic, I tried both acrylic and bright baits paint and acrylics were very tedious, came of sometimes or did not work at all. You are better off with a paint designed for soft plastic lures 👌

    What's the difference between the opaque and the wicked line of created , is it the finish ?

    • @lureblanks
      @lureblanks  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question, you've got 3 different wicked paints from createx now. The regular wicked paints which are semi-transparent which means that they do cover other colors a little but will be affected by the color underneath. Then you have the wicked detail line which are very transparent paints that will always show the color that is underneath. And then there is the new wicked opaque line and these do not show any color through from underneath. That is the difference between these 3 paints 👍

      @@lureblanks are the fluorescent colours good? All other brand's fluorescents, i have found, are quite watery. I'm looking to find good-covering fluorescents.

    • @lureblanks
      @lureblanks  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@zzz7zzz9 The fluorescents are good and if you layer them enough they are quite opaque 👍
