I am in shock. For years thanks to the bias western media I thought turkey was a terrible country. But after discovering what turkey does the the homeless cats and dogs I think it’s the best country on the planet. I’m British by the way. Thank you for looking after these animals and including them into your society. Wish every country was like this.
Unfortunatelly medias show Turkey so bad and dangerous but why.... we are safe and enjoy country. We love animals so much... so... we love humans also... come to Turkey guys... we love you all ❤ dont believe to liar media ❤🇹🇷
What good people they are, really amazing. If only more countries were like this. I live in Australia, we have few strays because we aren’t allowed to buy or adopt animals that are not nurtured. However our cats are no longer allowed outside, councils are taking away their rights claiming they kill birds. Sad, and very childish, probably more aimed at the owners being fined, money is their god. On top of that the people themselves either hate cats or dogs, more neighbour disputes over that than anything else. All in all it’s a very disgruntled country.
There’s literally a pet in every Turkish house wether it’s a bird, cat or a dog they have animals I live in Istanbul and I got a cat from a lady 3 months ago she had allot of cats running around her they were adorable ☺️ and the lady that gave us her cat still asks us how she’s doing and asking us to send her pictures she’s really sweet
Until a few years ago in Turkey, when we saw an injured or sick cat, we would call 153 (animal helpline) and a vehicle would arrive in a very short time and take the sick cat for treatment. But after the deterioration of the economy, the inflation problem and the refugee crisis, the state no longer wants to spend money on animals.😢😢
I only knew that in 2018 when me and my family decided to have a vacation in Istanbul , we all so surprised the street dog and cats look so healthy and friendly, I was told that 🇹🇷 houses have some sore of birdhouse in the roof for birds, it that true?
Im literally crying right now. Never in my wildest dreams I thought I would see not just a city, but an entire nation standing together in supporting helpless animals. OMG! As an Indian Im giving Turkey all of my heart 🙌🏻🙌🏻🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️💯💯💯

Someday, I'd like to visit Turkey and see for myself the care they offer for the stray animals. When you see animals and humans live in harmony, you'll know it's a great country.
Türkiye'de birisi bir sokak hayvanına kötü davrandığını görürse o çevrede ki insanlar da insana kötü davranır. İslam dini hiç bir hayvana kötü davranılmasına müsade etmiyor
Turkish people and their practice of caring for animals shows their decency and compassion. The world specifically those countries who mistreat dogs and cats should learn from Turkey.
What a beautiful culture and responsibility towards stray animals..my respect for these kind people has increased so much...god bless you guys..respect from my heart. 😇

In my country. Lots of people called themselves dog lover, cat lover, etc. But when it come to stray animals like these, the mercy act they could do is by kicking them away when the animal come asking for a piece of food.
Same with people who call themselves dog or cat lovers but their love is exclusive to pure breed dogs and cats. They couldn't care less about the the mutts. They treat mutts as worthless trash.
Turkish people are animal lovers and caretakers in every sense of the word. They have ancient Shamanic roots. They were believing in Shamanic-Tengrism in ancient times. In Tengrism , you are ONE with nature. You protect and believe in the balance of nature. Turkish people converted to Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, Manicheism, and many became Atheists and Agnostics, but they still kept their Shamanic ways within!!!!
@@ismailuzay4252 We love animals cuz we're Turks. It's not about Islam. (If it was about Islam, Islamic states (some of Arab countries and Iran) would be most animal friendly countries.

Its not about beliefs... atheists are as sensitive as muslims in this country, we dont have to seperate every attitude in religions. we do that because we have humanity inside s
Turkey is the best role model for human kindness towards their animals honestly you can't disagree. In Australia our government, animal shelters & rescue groups are so bloody uncaring toward animals in need. I say this from my recent experience trying to find help with a stray mother cat & her 5 kittens I called the local animal shelter was told their full & refused to help then there's the so called cat rescue groups I got the same replied from them too, 2 & half months later I had to beg, plead and agree to pay $400 for the RSPCA to take them in. I give cat & kittens shelter & feed them but I'm not in a position to be able to care for them, I did my best. Don't be fooled fellow Aussies our society really doesn't care for animals in the way Turkey does. Shame on us & Shame on the fake cat & dog rescue groups they don't really rescue animals per sa which I found out the hard way. These groups go straight to the pound & pick & choose which animal "they deemed worthy of rescuing". So really they are not a true rescue group when they refuse to help people with stray animals. All they want is your donations. Most never even turned my calls or emails only 4 was able to give little advice.
Society should be able to tolerate street animals. In order to have pristine surroundings and zero risk for humans, most countries kill street animals in overcrowded shelters because there is no way you can ever build enough shelters anyway. What Turkey is doing is the most practical and humane solution. But it also takes a certain level of tolerance from the general public. It would not work if people complained incessantly or killed strays themselves for minor grievances.
What a loving compassionate nation of people. Every country needs to learn from this. The most compassionate country in the world, apart from the UK, towards Animals. I'm from the UK where we don't have stray Dogs. Thank you Turkey for your beautiful Country.🙏😍
As a Turk, I just heard that there is such a service to stray animals :) Maybe it's because, I don't live in Istanbul. But people all over Turkey are taking good care of stray animals. Of course, there are people who treat animals badly. But the number of these people is very low and most of the people are against these people.
There is a service u can use all over Turkey to reach municipalities '153'. And it is also used for vet services for street animals at İstanbul. 153's vet services are free of charge but after the check-up, they take animals to shelters.
