Ian Anderson One of the GREATEST front men of all times Love the way he dresses And his voice is one of the best Juthor Tull best bands to come out of the 70's
Saw them in London 10 days after this. Brilliant show - they were a fantastic live act. That run of shows in London in April 1980 were, I'm pretty sure, the last time that line-up played together, as Anderson hired new musicians for the A album, and Barlow and Evan felt snubbed and jumped ship. Anderson seems to have been pretty ruthless towards other band members, as shown by his unhealed rift with Martin Barre after they played together for over 40 years.
Jethro Tull are Awesome! I went to their concert in 2010 here in North East of Italy 🇮🇹✨ with my husband and our daughter.❤❤❤ I remember when "Locomotive Breath" started, I cried in joy! 🥹
I was at Tampa stadium for television something I’ll never forget.🎉 As far as I’m concerned, Jethro Tull was the best band I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen them ALL,, from the stones to Led Zeppelin to Pink Floyd and on and on. Please come to South Florida
thanks man for this music gem. Analog records, wow! I have mo idea how it works, but i believe it was a real task. I can imagine it as a big VHS records. Big in size. Ok. Wonderful! I like retro effects, i call it special effects. Actually it is excellent video! Just look at Jethro Tull, they are perfect on stage! They do keybords, they do rock, they do intelligence, they do raw, they are magnetic combinations of everything. Wild and intelligence. Madness and control, passion play, u know! I like that style of atitude. Ian is very cool performer! All the the stuff he is doing on stage, wave ahands, jumps...unbeliviable things!
Music is recorded on vinyl, with grooves that determine the sound being produced. It is "played back" when a needle jumps up and down the created ruts. You can look it up (vinyl recording) on Wikipedia I think! Yep, fascinating!
Martin Barre is probably one of the most underrated guitar players in Rock and Roll history. And I might add Barriemore Barlow to the list of underrated drummers. This whole band has some of the best musicians ever, but they are not the popular picks because this music style isn't what the pop culture record labels were trying to promote.
I just missed out on these concerts. Sadly, by the time I was totally into Jethro Tull they were wearing the damn pastel jumpsuits of the "A" tour. Fortunately the dalliance with glam rock passed quick.
@@jimhardiman3836 I thought it was disappointing, but I have to admit that I made a similar comment once before and guys jumped in and said exactly what you just said. Maybe I need to revisit that album.
One of many bands i love but will never get to see because i was born at the wrong time and was slightly to young or poor to see them. But these videos and my noise cancellation headphones let me kinds get the feel. 😢
Minstrel is my favorite Jethro Tull song and I think they beat Metallica, Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden out for the first ever Metal grammy on the merits of Locomotive Breath.
Please, Please - The Title of this TV Show in Germany was "Ohne Filter Spezial" - you use a very wrong translation - "ohne Maulkorb" is very wrong. "Maulkorb" is translated in english: muzzle. "Ohne Filter" means for this show in english "Without filters" - the meaning of the title was, that there are no overdubbs and a complete live show without any cuts and filters. Please check your Titles of the videos and correct it.

I Know METALLICA WAS PEED OFF WHEN JETHRO TUll BEAT THEM IN THAT Play Off A Few Years Ago, And METALLICA Ain't No Joke, RASHEEM El Sadr AKA ROGER Lloyd Sr. Alhamdulillah ( Free PALESTINE)
What an incredible band! The 70’s were the greatest time ever and Jethro Tull was beloved and still are!

True that! What a great band
Amen four times here as well.
What a gem....too bad it wasn't all complete songs. Barrie is such an incredible drummer....👍
The Best band jethro tull 😊
Jethro Tull,a Locomotive energy of Progressive Rock...Masters !...
I saw Jethro Tull twice in the 70's. Ft. Worth, TX. The best concerts ever. Very theatrical.
Habe sie 5 x live gesehen. Das erste mal 1979. Am besten auf LP hören. Sie spielen immer noch.
@@hansstengl8876 I love his albums, they are wonderful and seamless.

I saw Jethro Tull in Nashville in 1977 it was awesome. We were so lucky to be born when musicical acts were virtuoso performers.
Great Band, Great Ian ,Great Legende. Greetings from Berlin.
Da gebe ich Dir vollkommen recht.. Schön ein Berlin Fan zusehen grins

Whoever got this in on a tape a tape recorder - thank you.
Great to see the "proper" Tull with the excellent Martin Barre.
Damn Martin's on fire at the beginning
Hell yeah and huge sound
They invented Minstrel Rock, And no one has ever come close to their style and talent!

Jethro Tull❤!
Great band excellent 👏 footage 😊
Wow, cool fast versions. One locomotive pushing the other :-).
Tull has been one of my favorites since the early 70s. He's an Energizer Bunny of rock.
Whoa! Wasn’t expecting this this morning! Awesome!!!!
When I was 16 I saw Jethro Tull in Chicago 1972

Was just born in 72 and never saw them live, but daaaamn… that was music!! Amazing!!
I remember getting a hand on one of those balloons at a Tull show. One of the many I attended.
Saw them so many times back then.So Incredible live

You judge a band by what the wear? The A tour was incredible!

I could watch Jethro Tull all day long. I just love watching Ian Anderson perform. Maybe one day I'll get to see him live ❤️
AWESOME, SOUNDS SOOOOOO GOOOOOD hearing him.
High school days in early 70s, awesome memories!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Minstrel is one of my all-time favorite Tull tunes....fukn' awesome!
Saw Tull on several tours in the 70s - always a great show
There was prog/rock, Symphonic rock and teatrical prog/symphonic rock and they were at the TOP for shure.❤
Such a great quality video clip, thanks for posting, Tull were just so good at this time. Barrie and Martin at full tilt.
La colonna sonora dèi mièi 20 anni
Will Taylor Swift still be going after 56 years and 30 albums? I have my doubts. Jethro Tull are a phenomenon!!
One of many bands i love but will never get to see because i was born at the wrong time and was slightly to young or poor to see them. But these videos and my noise cancellation headphones let me kinds get the feel. 😢
Thanks to Tony Williams and Dave Pegg for their contribution when bassist John Glascock was sadly lost.
Tony Williams actually played with Tull before Glascock's death, he had an operation at the time.
Loved them from buying Witches promise as a single when I was a kid and thereafter.
Já disse que te amo hoje?❤❤
Barrie = God
Just glorious ❤
Minstrel is my favorite Jethro Tull song and I think they beat Metallica, Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden out for the first ever Metal grammy on the merits of Locomotive Breath.
Still one of the best line-up for Tull, sadly missing John Glascock, but with a valiant Dave Pegg...
Barriemore farkin' Barlow! The band is on fire here! 🔥

The Minstrel In The Gallery😀 How do you think of these unique compositions? One after another, always.. Thanks. Pt. 1
I assume that’s Barrie Barlow on drums? I can’t get a good look at his face…
Yes
do you have video of live performance of bungle in the jungle ?
Where doest he throw his flute at the end?
Christ I can see where Spinal Tap got their influence from.
It's a pitty the poor sound quality.

The sound is very bad.
It isn’t Tull without Martin!
