The past week or 2 have been busy shredding cardboard for my worms. I have 12 Large Yard Leaf bags filled now. I am actually thinking of making a "Blue" like Ann has at Plant Obsessed.
@@A-V A friend owns a small store close to me and I pick up the cardboard on his delivery days. Does not take long once you have a system set up for doing it !
Last time I went to Costco I snagged half-a-dozen of those plain sheets of cardboard used to separate things that are stacked up on pallets. No adhesives, no staples, no ink, no labels, no tape - just cardboard. Using those to prepare my last batch of shredded paper/cardboard made it a major time-saving breeze 👍🏻
That shredded cardboard on top will make a nice worm bin cap!! I'm always amazed at how my UWB and my Outdoor Worm Bins' volume goes down each time after I feed! Excellent video AV!!🪱🪱🪱
The worms magically make it all disappear. Since the VermiBag Mini has been in service its level has pretty much remained the same all along. I have no clue how they do it :)
I noticed whenever it rains my worms act differently! The little ones (not the big fat adults) either run out the bottom of my plant pots or hop out the worm bin.
