The expansion of Colorado, especially the Springs, is quite disappointing. With each passing year, it gets harder for me to photograph Pikes Peak because of the haze and smog. I think a day out in nature beats a day typing prompts into a computer for a vasty inferior AI "masterpiece" anytime. Also, that's a pretty cool knife!
Yes a wise friend gave me that knife a while back. It goes with me everywhere. As to the smog, that is certainly disappointing. Wildfires and traffic. Hurray for progress....

lol at 7:40. sometimes, it's ok to just acknowledge that a scene only exists in a photo of the past. the initial one is beautiful. I'm just glad you got it when it was there! That's a big point of photography for me. It's worth it just to capture those fleeting moments that may not exist again
