I aint gonna lie, while The Fallen Child gives me that sense of burning heat, the pick for Hell should've stayed as You Idiot, because of how nicely it ties to the pick for WoF's theme, Your Best Nightmare.

Queen slime would fit perfectly with HEARTACHE, thematically and sounds as well. With all slimes she summons which are bullet hell, it would give me a heartache. And her 2nd phase it would transition very good. Wall of flesh could be the theme you chose for underworld. It fits way more for "Oh my god" and its creepy as heck

The temple is really fitting for Core, because it has that "last area before the final bosses" feel to it

Underground crimson - It’s so cold
Why would I change that? Simple. The Crimson is the most terrifying eldritch error creature I’ve ever seen. You stumble across a living land, grass made out of meat, giant bones coming out from deep underground, giant eyeballs, this place screams “ I am alive, I am watching you “ and so an eery theme that just screams “why I am here” feels appropriate.
As for the underground crimson, you feel yourself in a weird place, you don’t quite understand it yet, but it’s better than being watched by this biome, as your dive deeper and deeper, you notice how this tunnel looks like an esophagus, you keep diving in, still terrified by the fact that the stone is filled with blood vessels, you finally arrive in an open area, it’s big, and it leads to a series of tunnels, it’s very watery here, and the sound of flowing water is eerily different... wait, that’s not water, it’s blood, that’s not a sound of flowing water, that’s the sound of a heart pumping blood, a loud noise, where am I? I need to get out of here
Those themes also fit with the Brain of Cthulhu boss theme you chose

I just don’t like that the Wall of Flowey’s theme doesn’t exactly fit with the Underworlds theme anymore. The Fallen Child (or as I like to call it, Chara’s voice sound) isn’t as good a fit as You Idiot for

Now that the empress is here, hopes and dreams is hands down the one and only true choice for her theme. There is no other that could fit better. She's more or less a secret optional boss that is harder than the original "final boss" similar to asriel and both come from a royal background. And I mean c'mon... When I saw her the first thing that came to my mind was literally the asriel boss fight. From her visual design to her attacks. Everything. _It just works_

Undertale, (the song) now works very well with journey's end (the song), since you hear undertale at the end of the game. And journey's end (the song) was added in the final update. Both match. Both end, both end. Brighter, yet brighter.

Guys, don't you understand, golem is a statue of the moon lord! My evidence is that in golem you attack his hands then his head, only to open the core and finish him off! Another theory could be the cultists are lizahreds and after killing the moon lords living statue they decided to use the spirit of the statue to summon the real lord!

I just realized that golem theme, stronger monsters, plays during battle with CORE enemies, which is really funny since the temple's song in this is CORE itself
I always felt Gaster's theme fitted the solar eclipse extremely well

i like the change between "battle against a true hero" meaning you are fighting a hero, because you have turned into something less than human as you slaughter every being unfortunate enough to cross paths with you, and every monster that has any kind of ability to fight and sense of righteousness is trying to stop you, while here, you are that hero, fighting to save your world.

I just want to say, that this was a big help. I am a TH-camr myself and I'm actually working on making "Papyrus plays Expert mode" series, and this... WAS PERFECT! I have Corruption in my world, so I think instead of Fallen Child for the Underworld, I'll probably use Another Medium for that place because that theme is amazing and if you disagree your just wrong lol. WHAT THE-
I feel like Finale fits the wall of flesh a little more. Sure, best nightmare is a theme for abominations, but this is the final battle of pre-hardmode. I listened to this track specifically during my expert melee play through and I gotta say, I heart was pumping way faster than just listening to “boss 2” which is the regular soundtrack for this boss.
I think that "Here we are" would've been a much better fit for the dungeon, while "Danger Mystery" should've gone to the blood moon/meteor. "Here we are" is a bit faster and more suited for combat down in the dungeon, especially with the sense of discovery, the dark, tight corridors, and the constant action.
Meanwhile, "Danger Mystery" is a lot slower paced, perfect for hiding out a blood moon or exploring a meteor. Although the haunting tone does fit the dungeon environment, when you consider the gameplay and the fact that you spend most the time in there charging around and blowing up the monsters, I feel as if it's just more fitting to swap them.
Every track fits perfectly. I love these games, I love the music, I love this video.

Still kind of upset that Finale isn't used anywhere though. Considering the Lunatic Cultist is a pretty hard boss, so you're going to be fighting it for some tim, perhaps it could be used for the Lunatic Cultist in place of the less-than-a-minute loop that is Power Of NEO?

Me: Remembered about video where Undertale boss themes insert in Hollow Knight boss fights

goddamn, here i am finding this again after about 4 or so years, this was actually my first exposure to terraria gameplay and i remember the game had such an air of mystery and wonder about it, and now that i'm playing it and watching this video again after some years everything starts feeling familiar
there are a few things i don't agree with, i think that you should've also taken whether the feel of the replacement track matches the original terraria track when matching up songs.
having slow, ominous tracks for the underground biomes (considering they are very upbeat and somewhat fast paced otherwise, at least the main underground theme) creates a pretty odd clash, specially considering the one theme which sounds menacing and ominous (underground jungle) is replaced with a pretty upbeat track
additionally, there are tracks you picked which although somewhat fit with the environment and/or situation, would sound horrible while playing normally, such as the lunatic cultist (power of neo is so short) specially replacing the hell soundtrack with the track that plays when meeting chara (could you imagine having to listen to THAT while spending probably hours and hours exploring the underworld, mining, looting houses and chests, farming for dolls and preparing for the wall of flesh fight???)
there are also a few changes i'd make, mostly restricted to boss soundtracks, for example switch king slime's theme to enemy approaching since honestly he's pretty much a trivial boss (unless you're in multiplayer, get ready to get stunlocked), switch skeletron prime's theme to metal crusher and save megalovania for the empress of light (at least during the day), and maybe give lunatic cultist asgore or finale
and then there are themes which i personally don't think fit very well but there's not really much you can do otherwise, such as the dungeon - there are only a few bone-sounding musics in undertale and they fit better with bosses, so you end up not having a lot of room for choice, same for the solar eclipse
otherwise i very much agree with your picks, the frost moon and the one old's army picks in special i was feeling skeptical about but the more i thought about it the more it fit, and picking here we are for blood moon was genius considering it also fit the meteorite biome so well, overall i had as much entertainment watching this as i did years ago, great work!

Just like with Corruption and Crimson, the Jungle biome worked with a slower version of the above ground song, as mentioned in the video.

In modern day, I would give Battle Against a True Hero to Empress of Light. Both are bullet hell type bosses with a learnable attack pattern, and with enough practice you can get both bosses completely memorized. It just fits! As for whose theme Moon Lord gets as a replacement, I wouldn't say that Hopes and Dreams is a bad pick!

When I first played terraria with my brother, we were chilling, going to the dungeon to collect some loot.
We didn’t know that king slime was a boss.
Or the first boss.
We had post-skeletron stuff,
And then king slime just “randomly” spawned.
(I later realized it was from killing 50 or 100 slimes)
Needless to say,
we got *c l a p p e d*
