@4:08 I believe the concept is that “we’re sleeping” as in were to focused on like work, life sometimes even like drugs and whatnot, things that will only be beneficial to us and we forget about those around us.
We work and do things so much that we’re basically slaved to a system or a circle that causes us to lose everyone who mattered and all. That’s why when she looks at somebody they disappear, because she’s spending so much time in other things that she isn’t with those who matter.
Hence the WAKE UP, they don’t realize what they have until it’s gone. They’re awake but they aren’t, they’re focused on what other have instead of focusing on their life.
