I reported his Patreon and his Paypal for fraud. It's very obvious he's a scammer. No one collecting donations would use Patreon to collect them, nor would they capitalise every word or use that many emoji's.
Freaking unbelievable, all I got was an email saying that they won't do anything if there is no complain from the original mod owners, but even worse, doesn't even address the charity scam issue. 🤦♂
I'm a new dev in the GTA modding scene, but from the short stint I've been here, toxicity, cultism, and downright despicable behaviour seems to be endemic, so I'm not surprised whatsoever by the themes here. Albeit not as severe as conning charities, but we had a well known copycat reupload our mod's introductory video within hours of its release, purely for clout on his own channel.
AonGamer is also lying about the content of his mods (you briefly touched upon that with VCS part in his section), but he's also dm'ing people and straight up telling them he's gonna sell all of those mods and asking you what you want to buy (despite you not even messaging him in the first place), in that section where you're showing his patreon he's selling those beta/alpha mods and saying that they have "all beta missions" which is just BS, and he's also straight up selling TTDISA which is an old free mod He also used to advertise his videos in bunch of random discord servers

@@aeronyx Except there is. Ryadica was working on a full GTA LCS PC port which was legitimate as he nearly finished it, only some side missions weren't developed. The problem here is that he was basically selling GTA LCS. His final build (98% complete) is probably out there on the internet these days after Rockstar DMCA'd him.
Modding communities in general are unfortunately riddled with bad behavior. I've seen it first hand in games like Sven Co-op, A Hat in Time and Left 4 Dead 2 as well as hearing about it in Super Mario 64 and Sonic Robo Blast 2. There is probably more I've forgotten about but the point is that this is sadly a regular thing. I will say however that modders stealing from charities is definitely a first. I want to give the benefit of the doubt but even if I ignore your arguments, why would someone act as a middleman for charity like this? If it's not an organized event like GDQ or ESA just redirect people to the charity itself. It just feels really shady to me.
listen, while i get the whole "not crediting people for small mods that change a singular thing" because i can guess that some of these have started as personal kitchensink qol modpacks after which the guy kind of goes "hey this is pretty good i think people would like this" and hastily tries to find the authors of whatever he might have installed (it happens), but reselling other people's mods is just straight up copyright infringement, the kind that gets you behind bars in most countries, just as much as stealing from charities does if i'm not mistaken, someone should really look into reporting all of that to his local law enforcement
The GTA Community is just Chaos when Making Mods I Have Been Working for over a Year on A GTA San Andreas Stories Mod (Not the One Done by SAS Squad) And we Had To Stand Another Modder Attacking us for Months Accusing us of not Crediting Developers and Stealing Mods Even though we still not even reached the Beta Stage of the Mod, and we are all in High Pressure to get it done while Knowing we have that Son of a B**** Is Saying we are Stealing God Know's how many Mods Even though we still have to make to Finish Crediting everyone This Goddamn Crap Has Been Affecting My Mind So Bad I Don't Even Know Anymore if I am on the good Side off this "Civil Moding War" Or am I Working with an Actual Mod Stealer is Just so Much Pressure.
God. Reminds me of this rabbit hole I went down recently. Basically someone made HD texture packs for Dark Cloud 2, and someone else stole them and paywalled them behind a kofi page or something. And it turns out they've been doing similar for a lot of other projects. Absolutely infuriating shit.
Absolute bangin' video, Ben! Knew about a lot of the stuff beforehand but that Aon guy is one despicable being. Yikes. Why is it, that we get really good mod Devs and absolute garbage Devs and nothing in between? And hey, my Explosive Situation clip is here. :D
Theres entire map mods I've made for vice city that I released as part of a mini mod 15 years ago, I constantly see my assets I modeled and textured used in Russian mods , I never get credited, hell, I don't even have the original files anymore. I used to get upset about it. I realized asking to be credited gets ignored and that its going to happen no matter what I do. It does suck to see people get praised for something you busted your butt on. It's a constant problem. I'm also not much for paywalling mods, mainly because I modded/ made mods back in the early 00's, that was never a thing. IF you are going to do so, you definitely need to be making ALL of your assets ALL by yourself. It's bad enough to steal and release someone elses work, but stealing and paywalling stolen work is straight criminal.
I honestly have a point to focus where if you put your mods in public then the only thing that it needs another creator is not monetize with them and give credits.
Hello ben, already sorry for my bad english... I'm not surpris you are talking about diffculty mod, in 1.4 he add ai voice.. 7:11 just take the look why he's say on his own "vid test mod" (Spanked mad men has left The Difficulty mod because that is already in Tightened'reas so i won't steal the ideas from Tightened) btw good job on this video 👏
Very hard worked and well written video. This is not a casual topic its stealing and thats atrocious so thx to you for pointing that out!. I have one point of disagrement with what you said when you said therapy, Aon Gamer is not sick, he hasnt got any mental issue as far as i know, and even if he would this is no excuse. Thoses who are guilty need to pay back or have penalties that's how the world fix itself.
The Disappointment History of the Aon Gamer Section "Ah, standard scumbag TH-camr stuff, awful, but-" "Oh, wow that's..." "Wait wh- That's not even scummy that's just dumb. Wait how does it get Worse-" "Oh. That's how it gets worse."
this is just another day in the modding community sadly. there is no solution for this you can make your mods closed source which will prevent all of these issues but it would introduce a lot of downsides. I genuinely wish there was a way to unite and moderate all modders but well even the creators of the game themselves are bad so it's just rough.
This exact problem is why i only look for the good mods before downloading them. I do not want to support scummy work in any way, shape or form, positive or negative. As far as the GTA triology is concerned, you are the best source out there for determining good vs scummy work. Whoever is into the possibility of playing through modded work of the games sould check you out before downloading the mod they are about to install.
Modding community members trying to not steal assets from eachother challenge (impossible). I've seen this happen in so many modding groups I was a part of, that I stopped being surprised by stuff like this, even encrypting your assets wont be enough to stop some people from stealing shit.
And encrypting them is also devastating if Rockstar/Nintendo shot them down. Case on point, GTA Underground. Unencrypted? It can be revived, an example is Pokemon Prism
And then there’s still mfers flaming my ass when I said it’s a weirdo move to use assets and not publicly shout out the ppl you took it from. Some ppl dont understand that work equals money, and if you put work into something in your free time, it’s NOT that deep to have ppl mention your name if they dont even get Pennies for it.
Watching people stealing other people's work is kinda sad for me. They waste time and efford that they could put on making an actual original mod, instead of doing crappy videos and Copy&Paste other small mods to make an "original" mod or else. But unfortunately, the argument of stealing other people's work apply to the real life too, and sometimes they get away with the punishment. I hope this doesn't happen in AonGamer's case
Aon Gamer? I remember he was formerly falsely accused Vadim M of stealing content while he steals other people's content, including Vadim M's, and threatened DMCA.
I was scared you're gonna tell us some of those mods have shady malware or stuff inside them. But yeah it's kind of sad people just copy and paste other's people's work without even crediting them. Here I thought the vast majority of GTA mods are just ports of models from other games but there's some more scummy stuff going on like the patreon thing you mentioned.
The issue with this stuff getting copied I think is the modders stealing content just think that people won't bother enough and if they do people just wanna play mods they don't really care if content is stolen especially if they stumbled in their mod first, thats why it is super important for EBEN and other known creators withing the GTA 3D era scene should call out and completely annihilate them if they don't comply. It is important as a form of respect for modders like DB who made incredible mods from nothing and they gave us something beatiful, zero mercy for those punks.
Aon gamer is actually being a fake Christian because he is not Christian at all he is from Pakistan which he is Muslim and he has never been to church in his whole life because I can see this if I go to his about section
Ill say this despite sounding like a dick not a single american donated to us when Portugal was on fire in 2017, nor did they donate to Spain this year when it was literally flooded. So ill rather donate to my local charities than give americans a single cent. Once they care about the people we lost, ill care about theirs.
My theory is, ReLCS started Re3 and ReVC lawsuits because of name similarities. IIRC, the last patreon build of ReLCS is not a patch, it's full game. Causing people to be angry, and taking down his Patreon.
I don't intend to be mean but the cricket game being sold on the patreon and the weirdly written message is a huge hint at that the guy is some indian scammer just like in the call centers
You confronted him on discord and he still wanted to sell you some mods, ahaha. Did you change your mind about the GTA LCS Vice City mod being taken down? You said in a livestream that they had it coming because they are giving GTA LCS away for free. I am asking because I'm confused. Vice City Nextgen Edition does the same. After they got angry at taketwo tough.
Good video :) ...I mean, you're right that this Aon guy is despicable, however..it's such a small fish that it's even more funny how pathetic he is trying to scam people. And there are far worse people out there on the internet and lately the biggest fraudsters rig elections or even get elected presidents... With the modding scene I think it's important to always keep in mind that most modders probably mean well and do not make a lot of money, if any. So imo we should not totally condemn modders if they rip off a little asset here and there for the greater good, lol.
I'm glad you're finally giving yourself the credit for all your hard work on the Tightened mods 👍

I reported his Patreon and his Paypal for fraud. It's very obvious he's a scammer. No one collecting donations would use Patreon to collect them, nor would they capitalise every word or use that many emoji's.
I went even beyond that. If that's a charity scam, I didn't hold back and requested an investigation.
Freaking unbelievable, all I got was an email saying that they won't do anything if there is no complain from the original mod owners, but even worse, doesn't even address the charity scam issue. 🤦♂
@@Chapmike I got back the same
I'm a new dev in the GTA modding scene, but from the short stint I've been here, toxicity, cultism, and downright despicable behaviour seems to be endemic, so I'm not surprised whatsoever by the themes here. Albeit not as severe as conning charities, but we had a well known copycat reupload our mod's introductory video within hours of its release, purely for clout on his own channel.
The rabbit hole really did go deep, unreal
AonGamer is also lying about the content of his mods (you briefly touched upon that with VCS part in his section), but he's also dm'ing people and straight up telling them he's gonna sell all of those mods and asking you what you want to buy (despite you not even messaging him in the first place), in that section where you're showing his patreon he's selling those beta/alpha mods and saying that they have "all beta missions" which is just BS, and he's also straight up selling TTDISA which is an old free mod
He also used to advertise his videos in bunch of random discord servers
@@HeySlickThatsMe he did both of these things in my server, multiple times.
Yea it’s a foreign scammer, they’re notorious for spamming people.
it's the fact that they cry when it's pointed out is what gets me the most
a while ago i was enjoying polyvalord's the challenge mod but i found two different crashes that would happen so i commented under the gtaforums thread with instructions on how to reproduce them and the most likely cause and even told them how to fix one of the crashes, but every response i got was needlessly rude even though i was just trying to help them fix the crashes. i'm glad you mentioned their behavior in this video
That's fantastic! If I were the mod developer, I would be very grateful, because it would save me a lot of time.
The fact they PAYWALLED free mods is utterly disgusting.
Right aon gamer bro wanted to charge me for a ped.ifp file when I called him out in pms he said "you don't understand anything you freakin idiot"
That person can't be older than 16 lol
dude this fool also stole a mod that's been around since 2017 and it's just sad cause also when I confronted him he said "I improve them" spoiler he doesn't touch them except putting them in 1 folder with gta sa
@@krzysztofkgg61 Quite the improvement there! :D
Knowing the ped ifp if it was beta releated for sa he was probably selling my accurate beta animations to you lol
Never would I have guessed where this video was going
Never sank into this rabbit hole. I am always looking forward to all the GTA Games Multiplayer access and saw reused assets from 1 server to another server! Looking forward for you to cover a very unique server in MTA which combines 2 games
did he use chat gpt to replie that lol
yes
@ihatserbs1771 ChatGPT will not capitalise every single word like that unless it is explicitly told to do so, and it doesn't make the same ESL mistakes as Aon Gamer did in his messages. They're written by him.
As the dev of Story Mode 2.0, i'm completely in shock on that last one, there's people like me who started modding for fun and people like him is using other people's work as a way to scam people, trule disgusting
I was expecting you to talk about GTA Vice City Nextgen Edition, Liberty City Preservation Project and so on.
Paid mods are awful
See also: Paid BeamNG mod with IRL car brand, using 3d model from the Forza. Good thing is, that type of mod is frowned upon on the beamng forum, so it's on modland.
The one that's original (OC brand, 3d not stolen) is much more respected and can be seen on the BeamNG forum.
@@aeronyx Except there is.
Ryadica was working on a full GTA LCS PC port which was legitimate as he nearly finished it, only some side missions weren't developed. The problem here is that he was basically selling GTA LCS. His final build (98% complete) is probably out there on the internet these days after Rockstar DMCA'd him.
there's a quote from where im from who goes like "dumb is not who asks but the ones who gives" and this goes very well with that aon dude 😂
Aon Gamer has to be a scammer.
Last person, disgusting, i don't get it, wasting their own time instead of doing something with their life.
The GTA Community is just Chaos when Making Mods I Have Been Working for over a Year on A GTA San Andreas Stories Mod (Not the One Done by SAS Squad) And we Had To Stand Another Modder Attacking us for Months Accusing us of not Crediting Developers and Stealing Mods Even though we still not even reached the Beta Stage of the Mod, and we are all in High Pressure to get it done while Knowing we have that Son of a B**** Is Saying we are Stealing God Know's how many Mods Even though we still have to make to Finish Crediting everyone
This Goddamn Crap Has Been Affecting My Mind So Bad I Don't Even Know Anymore if I am on the good Side off this "Civil Moding War" Or am I Working with an Actual Mod Stealer is Just so Much Pressure.
God. Reminds me of this rabbit hole I went down recently. Basically someone made HD texture packs for Dark Cloud 2, and someone else stole them and paywalled them behind a kofi page or something. And it turns out they've been doing similar for a lot of other projects. Absolutely infuriating shit.
Would be nice to make part of 2 of this, but focusing on HD era gta mods.
Disgusting behavior, especially the charity stuff. Great reporting Ben! ❤
Oh yea I’m glad you’re finally saying something. I watched you play so many mods, you are one of the ones who can talk about this.
Hello ben, already sorry for my bad english...
I'm not surpris you are talking about diffculty mod, in 1.4 he add ai voice..
7:11 just take the look why he's say on his own "vid test mod"
(Spanked mad men has left The Difficulty mod because that is already in Tightened'reas so i won't steal the ideas from Tightened)
btw good job on this video 👏
I thought you were going to talk about the banning of Mods by Take-Two
Yeah, we need a 9 billionth person to chip in on that.
Thank you for sharing this with us!
The Disappointment History of the Aon Gamer Section
"Ah, standard scumbag TH-camr stuff, awful, but-"
"Oh, wow that's..."
"Wait wh- That's not even scummy that's just dumb. Wait how does it get Worse-"
"Oh. That's how it gets worse."
this is just another day in the modding community sadly. there is no solution for this you can make your mods closed source which will prevent all of these issues but it would introduce a lot of downsides. I genuinely wish there was a way to unite and moderate all modders but well even the creators of the game themselves are bad so it's just rough.
check out gta sin city if you haven't already, actually a well-made mod (except for the voice acting)
Mannn I haven’t seen English Ben go ag someone like this since Datess the internet begger 🤣 go gettem Ben!

Hardlined, for all its flaws, at least has its integrity untouched
The same thing happened with the Dark Souls/Elden Ring 'modder' Garden of Eyes.
"the gta situation is getting CRAZY!"
3:51 Oh boy here we go... 🤣
@@bitelaserkhalif Its either that or having your stuff stolen and re-sold on shady patreons by clowns.

The so and so situation is crazy..
The so and so situation is INSANE..
Addressing the so and so drama..
One coincidence is a coincidence.
Two coincidences is called a pattern
I've reported their Patreon page, such a scummy individual, thanks for the heads up Ben!
Great video
The fact that aon gamer is claiming that he made all of these mods by himself is complete bs whats worse is that the money is going in his pocket.
Anon patreon is the biggest Money Scam iv ever seening im shocked 😂 his discord wasimt pay walled behind it
Sounds like most cristian thing i ever heard, with or without him being true to pass that $$ to church. And tbh i expect both.
Here I thought the vast majority of GTA mods are just ports of models from other games but there's some more scummy stuff going on like the patreon thing you mentioned.
who hates aon gamer?
✋
Interesting contents!
Im curious on the ethics on modding a mod with credit (in the case of calling it “dlc” thats misleading but if u remix a mod?)
he literally has ~0 followers anywhere and i seriously doubt that anyone has paid him anything ever. it can't be that serious
Shady modders??? Dinoooosaaaaaaaaauuuurrr.....
God damn this isnt what i was expecting what the fuck...
Aon gamer is actually being a fake Christian because he is not Christian at all he is from Pakistan which he is Muslim and he has never been to church in his whole life because I can see this if I go to his about section
And here I thought R* and T2's attitude towards modding was the worst I've seen this week...
I wish the gta modding community would come together, the real enemy is take 2
Like just make good mods for the community
Ill say this despite sounding like a dick not a single american donated to us when Portugal was on fire in 2017, nor did they donate to Spain this year when it was literally flooded. So ill rather donate to my local charities than give americans a single cent. Once they care about the people we lost, ill care about theirs.
we only care about Ukrainians
i reported his patreon
The mod you forgot to mention is Re: GTA LCS created by Ryadica, do you know what exactly happened in that situation?
My theory is, ReLCS started Re3 and ReVC lawsuits because of name similarities.
IIRC, the last patreon build of ReLCS is not a patch, it's full game. Causing people to be angry, and taking down his Patreon.
Why does Aon Gamer wanted us to donate for the California Fire if he's from Pakistan?
I don't intend to be mean but the cricket game being sold on the patreon and the weirdly written message is a huge hint at that the guy is some indian scammer just like in the call centers
I feel like most of the stealers are very young people that really want some attention, why else would anyone do things like that, yikes 😭
Sanvive next, please 🙏
Agree to that

good watch
You confronted him on discord and he still wanted to sell you some mods, ahaha. Did you change your mind about the GTA LCS Vice City mod being taken down? You said in a livestream that they had it coming because they are giving GTA LCS away for free. I am asking because I'm confused. Vice City Nextgen Edition does the same. After they got angry at taketwo tough.
Haven't changed my mind, anyone who includes the full game in their mod is asking for trouble
