This one is in my top 90 for Angelina, she delivers an awesome tribute to Whitney. I remember hearing it for the first time and having to remember to breathe. She is my favorite singer and I've heard them all. The only other singer that affected me like she does is Elvis. I am 72 and only wish I live long enough to enjoy more of any thing she does that is new. I have listened to her 130 videos since finding out about her. I agree... I like how diverse she is. She sings beutiful hight but her strenght and unique style come in the low tones...I do prefer her low tone songs... they really move something on me, make me get the chills of witnessing something unique.

Welcome aboard the Angelina fan train. She is now one of the greatest singers of any age. I know she is on the way to join the pantheon of all time greats like Sinatra, Judy Garland, Ella Fitzgerald, Elvis, Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury.
She can do it all and she has only begun her trip to the top. She also has the support and encouragement of a wonderful family that hopefully will help her stay humble and grounded. She is just one of a kind and we are blessed to be able to see and hear this angle.

Here is my comment. This song is bigger than almost everyone I have ever heard attempt it and yet she crushes it with a smile on her face. Amazing.
Angelina chose to cover this song to prove to her doubters that she could belt and go high. Angelina is a vocal chameleon in that she can sing in several genres. Her grandmother, (an accomplished painter) has been a big influence on Angelina’s love of 40’s and 50’s classic jazz and big band music. I highly recommend that you listen to her cover Aretha Franklin, Billy Holiday, Lana Del Rey, Amy Winehouse and Adel songs because it will give you a greater perspective of what Angelina’s musical capabilities are. You will also discover how incredible her vocal range is in addition to her heartfelt and soulful renditions of those songs. You can not do a proper reaction of Angelina’s musical talent until you watch her sing, “I’ll put a spell on you” at the age of nine. The intro shows Angelina writing the arrangement and the music director smiling to what he sees.

whitney recorded this song in several takes in a state of the art recording studio. Angelina just did this in one take in her home studio. Whitney never sang this song live as good as Angelina just did !!!
check out her video of her song "A Million Miles" ( live in studio ) its a black and white video, 3rd one for this particular song. its also a live recording with her standing in front of a microphone with a piano player and a cello player. if you havent heard it yet, grab some tissues, its a tear jerker. she wrote this song after her grandfather passed away in 2018. all the words and the arrangement are hers.

Great reaction guys! Well, I'm not a Whitney Houston fan exactly (just don't go for the belting style all the way), although I surely respect Whitney as one of the greatest singers, no doubt. But when I first watched this Angelina cover I realized she took a great risk, as she was out of her voice comfort zone (velvet jazzy bluesy soulful wonderful contralto voice). And I standed there speechless, impressed not only by her wonderful take to this, but also to her bold and powerful attitude, for a child, during this rendition. And I'm still amazed today. I even started to like this song as well, because of her tribute cover. She's simply the most versatile, best singer I know today. A true music genius! We'll keep talking about her in the decades to come, should all things goes well for her career. So far so outstanding good!! Go Angie!! Cheers!!
