Oh, Lisa if you only could feel the happiness in my heart right now to see our salmon return to the creek. My family raised 300,000 kings a year in the old ponds back in the 80,s and 90,s. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!!!! You have made this old man so happy!!!!!!!
Lisa. Fall Creek and Spring Creek are the main and as far as I am aware the only water supplied to the fall creek powerhouse, lower falls & fish hatchery. Both spring systems are located up in Oregon a couple of miles. PP&L share of the spring creeks water rights are redirected out of the spring creek drainage over into fall creek drainage on the back side of the old cattle ranch, which I think was called in 1850 the Frain ranch. From there it flow's about a mile or so to the fall creek diversion dam where the flow is split part to fall creek powerhouse and part to the upper fall creek falls and then down to the lower fall creek falls and the hatchery
I wonder how many are in that pool below the falls. Seems like there would be a bunch of them. Maybe that's why they put up a no trespassing sign at the trailhead to the falls.

Is the Fall Creek hatchery still operating?
Not the old one. They put a whole new facility in at Fall Creek
