I have never understood what people truly get out of playing in such a way. I get it on a basis that some people just wanna troll. I get it that some are just plain bad. Either for lack of time or refusal to learn. I get why you'd do it if the opponent never learns. Why change what's working? I get it could just be a kid on the other end who barely knows a thing. But even if your a sore loser, getting your behind beat and etc. I'd have thought you'd at least get a level of fun from throwing down, is it really so fun to some people in a fighting game to just run away and only do one thing? Like, how does it not numb the mind to only do one sequence of buttons and nothing else? I'm not even trying to hate people who do this or those who legit play keep away/zoning styles, it just really appears impossible to me that someone would willingly play like this for the intent of having genuine fun without getting bored? Sorry for length and ignore the mini rant, but it really does make me think at times, nice to see MKX again.
Tbh, mk playbase is hella toxic in general. Plus when people pick this game up for cheap on sale this year then they have to go against people online who've been grinding since 2015. And that's pretty humbling in a game like mkx which is mostly a d1 battle. So you get faced with trash like this online. Although I don't understand why the teabag.
