I like the South Loop. It's extremely affordable for still being downtown, it's accessible to other neighborhoods, there's a lot of practical amenities like grocery stores, veterinarians, and fast food. A 20 minute walk and you're in in the Loop :)
I appreciate it. Thanks for reaching out about the content. your input and suggestions were included. I had some b roll and background music in this one!
Gosh i thought the south loop was lit 😩 i moved here from nyc in last of last year and live in Lincoln park and want more diversity lol heard south loop, Hyde park, Logan square would give me that but I’m looking to do a high rise when my lease is up idk stuck 🤷🏽♀️
@@tmonlouis16 If you're looking for a high rise building your options shrink. would you consider a full amenity building that isnt a high rise? the neighborhoods you mentioned are good options. Also West Town, Wicker Park. When you are a couple months from your lease ending let me know. I'll help you find the right place and area.
@@LivingInChicago I’m open to one of those apartments where it’s just me and another tenant living there like those duplexes I think Wicker Park/Bucktown /Logan Square have a lot of those but I definitely reach out to you when I’m ready, thanks 🙏🏽
I live on S. Wabash/E.Harrison....work @ Daley.....it levels off after 6pm, true....but bruh making it sound like it turns into Kansas at night....lol.
Chicago is in my top 5. I love the people and the vibe. I am moving from GA. I have a new car and two motorcycles. Is Chicago right for me :). As I am searching it seems parking will be an issue for me
Can you explain why they overcharge for location and show you apartments so small cha apartments look better a shame my couin from orlando decided to move here and we went looking for her I felt ashame we looking at places run you between 1500 to 3500 a month and we go into an apartment EXTREMELY PEOPLE SMALL they want 1999 for the spacious one and the kitchen looks cheaply made not a lot of space for storage was just deeply sad so i come to this video for help before she go back to florida come october very sad and ashamed my city over charging in place dont even look worth the price at all
I live right in front of grant park and I think it’s pretty safe, of course it depends on what you’re comparing it to. For a big city it is safe, but you do have to take precautions just like in every major city, there’s some crime like theft and the occasional homeless person that can look sketchy but nothing major.
I'm still pretty new to the area. Now that it's warming up, I'm seeing some mentally unstable homeless people come out. They don't seem to be violent, but they are loud. Otherwise, it's nice. I go out walking my dog at night and nothing happens
This guy sounds like he's never even been to the South Loop. I don't know how he manages to survive as a real estate agent, based on his knowledge of the area.

I must be in a different part of South Loop than where you're talking about! Printer's Row has a lot going on in my humble opinion. Great vid!
the south loop is perfect for families!
Cool video and very accurate. I worked in the south loop for years and can agree with every point
Love the video today, man! Always something fun going on in the South Loop. Edits and quality were great! Keep up the good work.

Hi Joe, would you please do a video on living in Bronzeville?
How safe is the area?
Needing a car in south loop? Lol, try living in the south USA without a car like I am. The south loop is a piece of cake in comparison.
I also like the south loop
