was doing a pokemon scarlet wonderlocke, i got a lv 1 frokie for my first trade that died to Nemona right before Tulip's gym. My friend attacked me afterwards because Greninja is his favorite Pokemon.
Neo monsters, created by Zigzagames, has a lot of monsters that have moves that make them die or sacrifice another monster to use this move, including Backstab and Backbite. Any Pokemon with Momento, Final Gambit, or any explosion move excluding Mind Blown, will die if they use said moves.
Annhilape is the single most genius evolution. We've known for years that Primeape dies when it gets too angry, and turning that into a ghost type evolution is a genius move on gamefreaks part
Wait what about the move "Fake Tears"? Even if faked they are technically still tears, so that would mean any pokemon that can learn that move can bring people back from the dead.

It's funny how Dobbs showed a list of Pokémon predators and prey when you consider that in my fan-made region of Anteria, I created regional variants and regional variant evolutions for Heatmor, Durant, Shelmet, and Karrablast. And Heatmor gets new prey, while Shelmet gets a new predator.
Pokemon has held back on having too much death in their games/anime in the past, only select few moments were mentioned. But the fact that they are starting to show it a bit more might mean that Pokemon is starting to acknowledge their older fans.
Iirc in the 2nd Pokemon Ranger game, theres a timed segment where you & your partner Pokemon+ any more that are with you, have to escape a sinking ship. If you run out of time, your character & all the Pokemon with them go down with the ship. Then you get a game over & have to restart

Hate to correct you, Dobbs, but the scene with Amber2 and her death wasn't only shown in the Japanese version of the movie. Select cinemas did show the whole movie with that scene in tact early on when it first was dubbed into English and only removed later. Plus, if you're like me and bought a copy from Japan (I bought mine while actually IN JAPAN back in 2012), it's included in the movie, English dub and all.

In my school vr game the latias Ash befriended is dead sense it's comfirm when during the mission called umbrella folding there's a event where Ash latias is doing airstrikes on Goalius during the guardian titan boss and it doesn't have a normal ko but a X death (in the metroid series there are x parasites which can copy there hosts on a mental cellular and biological level that can only be killed by metroids)

Ash actually did NOT die (or at least wasn’t supposed to actually die) in The First Movie, as according to the writer for the movie and the chief writer of the Pokémon anime at that time, Takeshi Shudo, said in his notes that Ash wasn’t supposed to be dead, only petrified from the Psychic attacks. And the “tears of life” bit was ONLY in the dub (Miranda only says that it’s the biggest storm she’s ever seen in the original version) and 4Kids is INFAMOUS for adding in things in the dub that either don’t make sense, are there just to try and make things make more sense, and even add lines that directly contradict what is said by some characters in some instances, with some of those lines causing continuity errors, and also mistranslating Pokémon attacks so that they’re attacks that they could never learn in the games (Bulbasaur’s Dig doesn’t count, as that was the same in the original Japanese version), not to mention, “Nothing beats a jelly-filled donut!” And Ambertwo and the cloned Kanto Starters’ deaths were NOT exclusively in the Japanese version, as, while it wasn’t included with The First Movie internationally, it was eventually released on the Mewtwo Returns DVD as The Uncut Story of Mewtwo’s Origin (something I can vouch for, as that’s how I discovered the prologue originally).
I think being petrified still counts as a death, at least death of the body. It’s possible his mind was still active but that would probably make that situation worse then

Ash actually did NOT die (or at least wasn’t supposed to actually die) in The First Movie, as according to the writer for the movie and the chief writer of the Pokémon anime at that time, Takeshi Shudo, said in his notes that Ash wasn’t supposed to be dead, only petrified from the Psychic attacks. And the “tears of life” bit was ONLY in the dub (Miranda only says that it’s the biggest storm she’s ever seen in the original version) and 4Kids is INFAMOUS for adding in things in the dub that either don’t make sense, are there just to try and make things make more sense, and even add lines that directly contradict what is said by some characters in some instances, with some of those lines causing continuity errors, and also mistranslating Pokémon attacks so that they’re attacks that they could never learn in the games (Bulbasaur’s Dig doesn’t count, as that was the same in the original Japanese version), not to mention, “Nothing beats a jelly-filled donut!” And Ambertwo and the cloned Kanto Starters’ deaths were NOT exclusively in the Japanese version, as, while it wasn’t included with The First Movie internationally, it was eventually released on the Mewtwo Returns DVD as The Uncut Story of Mewtwo’s Origin (something I can vouch for, as that’s how I discovered the prologue originally).
I think being petrified still counts as a death, at least death of the body. It’s possible his mind was still active but that would probably make that situation worse then

Maybe if Ash gets a cameo episode in the current anime (which Kunihiko Yuyama, one of the primary directors of the anime, said that he hopes that Ash can come back), perhaps he can have Primeape come back as an Annihilape?
@@GamingAllday-tm4lt If what I keep reading online is correct, the Japanese version had Ash telling Pidgeot something that roughly translated to, “Pidgeot, can you stay in this forest and protect Pidgey and the others for me? We’ll be back as soon as we finish our errand. Good luck, Pidgeot!” Ash actually COULD, and, likely, WOULD, have come back for Pidgeot sooner if the anime decided to keep the GS Ball plot line instead of abandoning that part of the story, which would have eventually involved Celebi, but that plot got turned into _Pokémon 4Ever - Celebi: The Voice of the Forest,_ according to a 2008 interview with Masamitsu Hidaka, one of the original directors and storyboard artists of the anime. Plus, Ash actually DID remember Pidgeot a couple times, as he talked about Pidgeot in the episode _Fighting Flyer with Fire,_ when Ash reminisced about his Pidgeot when Falkner’s Pidgeot was brought out to stop Team Rocket, and Ash even said something like, “Someday, I’ll go back and see my old friend!” and even specifically mentioned the events of the episode that it was released in, and also in _The Fires of a Red-Hot Reunion!,_ where Ash, despite being supposed to be a new “dumb, soft-rebooted Ash”, remembered the events of the episode _Snow Way Out!,_ where Pidgeotto was one of the Pokémon that risked their lives in order to keep Ash and Pikachu alive and warm (and he even remembered Primeape in this episode as well as part of another flashback reminiscing about his memories journeying with Charizard)!
