Been playing Zelda for several weeks now, really enjoying it, some of it not easy, but with many attempts, manage to survive. Must say, been struggling with Bongo Bongo, tried bow& arrows , bombs, even the sling-shot, just killed it using my sword, slashed and slashed mostly each side of the red thing, suddenly, it expired, and I'm still alive ! don't give up, ( I'm 67 yrs old).

I recently beat this dungeon again the other day and I kept thinking about how any song I played seemed to do nothing for green Navi.
Imagine if Nintendo invested on high-end hardware like PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, PS5, Xbox Series X and remake Ocarina of Time again with realistic graphics... Shadow Temple and Dead Hand would be both scarier than they are on Nintendo 64. 3DS they don't look THAT scary, but they still scare.
Nice bow and arrow skills but gyratory sword atack is more effective against this boss, you can catch both hands out (one by one) when they are approaching to you and do the same once the neck is getting closer, even if you are not using the eye. It is usefull to catch the movements it is going to perform, from the distance, without risking yourself hanging arround within its closer reach.
Kinda disappointing how they removed the scary parts of this temple in the remake. Esp the blood stains were the real scary parts of the temple when I was a kid. Fits into the theory/fact that this temple was an execution/torture chamber.
The boss looked better in this version... more details, more movement... however the arena was lacking... a lot. It was too bright... the 64 version made you feel like death was on the horizon. Also I didn't like the death scene... there's nothing wrong with it, but I just like the 64 version better...
After you destroy Bongo Bongo, pick up the Heart Container and step into the blue light to return to the Chamber of Sages to meet Impa the Shadow Sage for thanking you for destroying Bongo Bongo from destroying Kakariko Village and searching for a Princess Zelda, but there is one more Sage to explore yet. I rather tackle the Gerudo Fortress to free the 4 imprisoned carpenters and get a Gerudo Membership Pass to explore the Haunted Wasteland and to the Spirit Temple to search for Nabooru the Spirit Sage to free yet.

It's 99% the same. The only change I can think of are the way the boots are equipped, and that's for the better because nobody liked having to pause and unpause every 5 seconds in the water temple.

If you look closely at Deadhand, he still has a couple of the red splotches on his body. Also, they were never intended to be blood. In the original when you slash at his body, green liquid gushes out. His blood is green. The red stuff is just a weird texture on his skin.

You know you can use the lens of truth to find dead hand and throw a bomb to make him come up instead of killing the arms?

They removed the blood stains in the temple in this version.
They changed the ganon fight for their to be more lighting and that just ruined the atmosphere and the tension in the fight
at the end of the boss i finished with the hover boots on and it carried over into the next scene.
I was so prepared to suffer in the fight against Bongo Bongo, but... It went down in literally three minutes. Maybe I'd watched this video too much ^^

No, I found it way easier. Without the hover boots, it's harder to lock onto the hands every time the drum is struck.
