    I think some T-Rex eyeballs painted on the side of the bucket would make the distance shots really interesting. I know they wouldn’t last long but still……..

    Coming to the end of this video, I was thinking how good it would be to have a quick drone shot update, to give context to the quick progress made in just a couple of days. And "hey presto!" - skilled operator sure knows his audience. Cheers, Chris.

    Same thing happened when my friend was helping us with removing some trees, after he stabbed the limb to break it in half. We figured the bark or something released the tang and the tooth was partially stuck when he let go of the limb.

    Good progress there Chris. Whatever the outcome of obtaining new bucket teeth, might be worth carrying a spare set, despite the dead stock price implications. Bucket with missing teeth might be even more expensive for as long as that situation lasts. Must be really frustrating. Hope it comes right soon for you. Be well.😉

    Why is the thumb cylinder so much louder than the others? Not that it matters, I’m just curious. I don’t think I’ve ever heard one like it unless it was in bad shape. Maybe the flow being adjusted up and large lines feeding it? Yes it faces the cab but it’s the same way when recording outside the cab. Almost sounds like rubber bushing in it but I know better than that.lol

    Hey Chris, love the content. Have you ever considered doing a video where you share the feedback from some of your customers? I would love to see and hear some of the comments they come up with long after you leave the jobsite. We all know Bealy is going to wax lyrical about you, (fanntastic vids from both of you BTW) But how about some of the others that never made vlogs? Stayed incognito, etc. The minnow pond you did so long ago with all those spindly willows? The storage units you built so much drainage and many pads for? That pond rehab that you and John hauled soooo much mud from to the top of the hill? You work such long days and hours, how about just strolling around with the camera for a few days rest and relaxation and give us updates on old projects?

    I remember when I was a kid, I see a D8 plowing through hard woods that were at least 3 foot thick and maybe more! Had no troubles at all making its way up the side of our back 40. Dad went up and cut and brought down all the full length trees for firewood! late 60s early 70s! Then that dozer looked huge! The blade was taller than I was, and I was tall for my age! Long story that goes with this! 🍺🍺

  • @nicklambing9268
    @nicklambing9268 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    The way you were last working clearing with the dozer was similar to the way I was taught years ago. You open up the patch clearing long paths and then push the material you knock down into windrows in the area just cleared. A person can proceed across tremendous acreage that way quickly and efficiently, leaving windrows of brush and trees across the property. Then you can pile it to be burned, or just make breaks in the windrows and burn the windrows. After logging that was how we cleared areas to facilitate replanting. Nowadays there is often less slash burning, more chipping and even hauling the chips for hog fuel. Nice job. Nick, North West Farmer (Oregon, USA)

    I’d much rather watch an excavator clear trees & brush than a bulldozer. Excavators do a much cleaner job without disturbing the ground so much and you don’t end up with a lot of dirt in the burn piles. I do enjoy watching you work with your bulldozers but I’d rather watch you clear land with your excavator.

I don't know if that's even normal? but I assume that it is😅. Great vid👍🇺🇸

    The 220 munchasorus is most happy to be in its element munching on -ah-- anything that gets in its way, taking no prisoners either, and I might add helping LD18 construct mount brushmore burn piles for the SMALL fire event.🙄 interesting 2 teeth fell off and at the same time. Then another dose of the 6 kitty, keeps getting better all the time. Thanks for the ride along sir.
